The room is clean but quite old. The receptionist provided good service. There were 3 of us staying, 3 dogs, for 3,650 baht. We added an extra bed for 1,000 baht, and 3 dogs for 500 baht each. The total amount paid was 6,150 baht for 1 night. However, there was an unpleasant incident when we came down to have breakfast. We came down at 10 am. This was our fault for coming down when breakfast was over. When we came down, the receptionist asked us in shock if we had breakfast. We told them to wait a moment. After a while, another staff member came. We are not sure if he was the one serving breakfast or what, but this staff member came to tell us that the customers would like to have breakfast. The kitchen closes at 10 am. If you want to eat, that's all. The staff member spoke to us with these words. So we checked our phone at 10 am and 2 minutes later. We understood that we came when the kitchen was really closed, but is there a better way to inform the customers? We were very unimpressed with the price we paid and the service with the staff member. We felt that everything was okay. We knew that it was our fault for coming at this time. We were okay not having breakfast because we had already accepted it. But I didn't think I would encounter such words from an employee. I was stunned for only one to two minutes. If the service staff were truly professional, there would be a better way to solve the problem. In conclusion, I didn't eat and didn't blame anyone. I blamed myself for being late, but I should have received better words or service because the price I paid was quite high for the service for one night. I felt that it wasn't worth the service I received.

Came to stay here for the 2nd time. The atmosphere is good. It's in the mountains. The weather is cool. There is also a cafe in the accommodation area. Good service staff, impressed.

📍Issara Boutique Winery Hotel Hotels in vineyards 🍇 at Khao Yai, Muak Lek, Saraburi At first, we booked a deluxe garden view room, priced at 2,889.-. But when actually looking at the room, the room is quite opaque. The hotel then moved to the mountain view side. The room is a little smaller But add another 700.- Which is considered very worthwhile because the view is beautiful, taking beautiful photos, and the weather is good. The bathroom has no bathtub, strong water, cool air conditioner. Standard hotel breakfast buffet The pool color is very beautiful. Nice photo taking. not many people swim We could drive to see the vineyards and take pictures, but we couldn't get there because we saw a snake first 😂

Very disappointing booking. When checking in we were notified that the restaurant would not be opened which is a large inconvenience for location and the idea that it’s a place to eat & drink wine. The rooms have aged a lot since the photos. We checked out and went to a more accommodating location.

I'm mostly reviewing the food and wine here (it is a winery hotel). Hotel: It's cheaply furnished and tacky but it's cheap. It has no pretenses of being a 5 start hotel. Wine: This is more painful. It showed promise a few years ago when we first discovered it. That promise seems to be largely absent today. It feels like an abandoned hobby project. Dining: The staff: - acknowledged what (older) vintage we wanted - brought the most recent vintage to the table and opened it without showing it to us - told us we were looking at the ‘wrong wine list’ - were deeply confused when we asked for a current wine list - did not know what a decanter was - served us wine immediately from the decanter _after_ we explained their purpose and how to use them The food: - ingredients from Tesco or 7/11 - charcuterie with Ritz crackers - pasta with ketchup on the side My son said, ‘awesome! budget appetizers’ with a level of culinary sarcasm rarely seen in grade school kids. And while I don’t care about the price of food, the total for dinner was over 4k baht. On our way home we picked up 3 live brittany lobsters and a charcuterie for about the same price. I used to correct people and say ‘no, there is one decent vineyard in Thailand’. Now I have to walk all of that back. A bad joke of a vineyard. They should give the vines back.

Few hours drive from BKK. A good getaway with friends and house wine 🤩 our room is clean. the road to this hotel is quite dark at night, so you better stay in and enjoy the night in the hotel. Cheers!

The hotel at the Issara Boutique Winery is...complicated. The property itself looked great and was well maintained, nestled amongst the lush jungle forest of the Khao Yai valley. That said, it's also located pretty much in the middle of nowhere and is around a 5-6 km drive from the main road. This isolation is nice, but also very inconvenient as there aren't really any nearby restaurants or amenities. That isolation became a bit more problematic when it came to food. More centrally located resorts in Khao Yai benefit from having tons of food options nearby. Issara Boutique Winery Hotel has none of those options. NONE. Unless you're OK with making a 10-12 km round trip back to the main road area just to grab a bite to eat you're stuck with the food at the hotel. Overall, the food isn't bad. The in-house restaurant has a small menu of mostly Thai dishes. But be prepared to pay some pretty ridiculous prices. We had pad kra pao, khai jiao and an order of french fries. The grant total - 760 Baht, which is probably triple the price you'd pay just 10 km or so closer to the other resorts. Water wasn't bottled and was instead tap water filled into glass bottles, which I found a bit odd and contrary to how pretty much every other restaurant in Thailand does it. Breakfast, which was included with the room, was serviceable. You can order from a small pre-set menu which included things like scrambled eggs, pancakes, a grilled cheese sandwich (?!), and a few other dishes. I'm glad breakfast was included with my room because I would have probably been pretty upset with having to pay for it. We ordered the scrambled eggs with sausage and bacon and the grilled cheese sandwich. The eggs were cook well, but the two tiny sausages and ONE thin slice of bacon was disappointing. The grilled cheese sandwich, advertised as "buttery and toasted" was grilled dry as a bone, yet the cheese inside wasn't even melted. It was also about the size you would expect from one of those household sandwich makers. Not impressed. Our room was a confusing mix of good and bad. We stayed in the Junior Suite, which featured an interested loft area with a nice window to view the valley and mountains. In theory this was awesome, but in practice it was pretty much the opposite. Access to the loft was via a removable ladder that didn't quite have the stability you would want it to. In order to actually be stable enough to climb up it also had to be placed at a fairly steep angle. Given that, we made one trip up to see the view and one trip down and that was the end of it. When it was time to take a shower before bed we discovered that our room didn't have any hot water. We tried to call the front desk and also discovered our phone didn't work. The front desk sent up a staff member who, after trying to figure out the problem, said we could use the room next to ours to take showers as it was vacant (and accessible via a door between the two rooms). Problem solved? No. The other room's
