We stayed at this terrific resort that offers a free flow of crisp apple juice straight from their own 'apple tree' during their stipulated happy hours. This fantastic retreat boasts its own park, horse stable and even a theatrette, where we enjoyed an engaging interactive performance showcasing Aomori's Nebuta festival.

Aside from being overpriced, I was very satisfied with everything else. The room was very comfortable. Although you couldn't specify a room type, it was large. The bed was also very comfortable. However, no one cleaned it. They were probably rehearsing for the Nebuta Festival performance, hahahaha. The breakfast was very rich. We had seafood rice early in the morning, which was fantastic. The ingredients were fresh and high quality. The waiters were all great. They were very friendly. The Nebuta Festival performance was fantastic. Even though I didn't understand it, I was still moved by the actors' enthusiasm.

It was a great visit with family. The onsen was especially nice, and the rooms were spacious and the tables were large. There aren't many places to go around Misawa, but it was a great route to travel from Aomori Airport to Hachinohe via Misawa. The free shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel was also very convenient and nice.

The trip to Northeast Japan was booked right before Aomori-ya's usual room availability. On June 13, I took the Shinkansen from Akita to Morioka, then the Shinkansen to Hachinohe, and then the Aomori train to Misawa, dragging my suitcase to Aomori-ya. This section takes about 15 minutes to walk, which is actually OK. I checked in at 14:00 and waited until 15:00 to officially check in. According to the experience of Xiaohongshu, I immediately booked dinner and breakfast, dinner at 17:30 and breakfast at 8:30. The Nebuta Festival requires hotel staff to go to work at 15:00 to book or scan the QR code to pay by credit card. I chose to book on the spot, 1800 yen for adults, but not for children. The seats are B3, 4, and 5, which are very spacious. It feels like one seat can accommodate two people. Finally, I paid the fee when I checked out. The room in Aomori-ya is average, but the breakfast and dinner are great, and I have realized the freedom of scallops. I must book dinner! I went to take a bath when I had nothing to do one day. The floating bath on the first floor is very big. It feels good to be outdoors. It is also quite interesting to have many people. It is open and not stuffy outdoors. The cool breeze is very chill. Everyone feels equal when they are naked [laughing and crying R] The original bath is a bit boring. Because it is open to the public, it feels like a big bathhouse for nearby residents, but after taking a bath in the original bath, I feel that kind of mineral slippery. On the second day, I went to the small park next to it. It was great for strolling and taking pictures. There was also a foot bath. It was very comfortable under the sun. There were towels for wiping feet in the cabinet next to it. At night, the sleepy demon festival, just... watch the excitement, no photos or videos are allowed, about an hour, just as an experience. Aomori-ya's three-day and two-night trip, every day is eating, drinking, bathing and drinking apple juice. Aomori-ya is very good, I will go again next time! Tip, there is no bed for children, you have to pay extra, but! Free bedding and pillows can be provided, which is enough.

A wonderful trip begins at Aomori-ya. A night and two meals is the best way to experience a hot spring hotel.

The old hot spring hotel is very comfortable to take a bath, the quality of the buffet is also very good, there are cute ponies to take photos with when welcoming guests, there is a lake near the hotel, and it is very pleasant to take a walk there.

Aomori-ya is well-known. It has all kinds of facilities, especially the buffet is delicious. The park outside can not only soak your feet (towels are provided), but also play horse racing. It is a few minutes walk from Misawa Station. You can book the bus to Oirase Gorge in advance on the hotel's official website. The only drawback is that the evening performance was booked by the tour group, so I didn't see it.

The hotel is very close to Misawa Station and can be walked. If you have luggage, you should call a taxi or take the hotel shuttle. Dinner was very homely, with grilled scallops and squid, which was delicious. Many hotel guests take the Aomori Railway from here to Hachinohe to see the sea. Due to the long distance and the departure time of the Hachinohe Line every hour at Hachinohe Station, it is not very convenient. There are also chartered cars in the local area to pick up and drop off at the hotel. We took the Aomori Railway from Misawa Station at noon. When we got out of Hachinohe Station, we missed the Hachinohe Line. We took a taxi directly from Hachinohe Station to the coastal observation deck, which also saved a lot of time. We took the coastal bus back. The hotel service is warm and polite. The room is also very large. Satisfied!

The hotel is a bit old, but the environment is great. The small park next to it is amazing. Soaking my feet in the water immediately gave me the feeling of being on vacation. The hot springs in the hotel are even more effective, and the environment is great. The two meals were delicious and beautiful.

The hotel is relatively old, but it is very well maintained, clean and tidy, the staff is warm and welcoming, the room is large and comfortable, the bedding is comfortable, the hot spring is great, the skin becomes smooth as soon as you enter, the outdoor hot spring is super comfortable, and it is interesting to soak in the hot spring while watching the stars at night. The breakfast and dinner are rich and varied, and the seafood is delicious. I will choose it next time!
