We stayed at the Marriott Courtyard Milano Linate for one night, which was just as well, as it was not an enjoyable stay. We already knew that the location is not in the central city, which is fine as it's meant to be more accessible to the Linate Airport and not to the tourist attractions or CBD. The check-in experience was not great - as a Marriott Bonvoy Titanium member there was nothing different than being a non-Bonvoy member in this case. When I enquired about a room upgrade, I was met with a flat ”no” without the check-in staff even bothering to look, saying there was non available. There was also no offer or points to redeem when dining at the property restaurant, which is normally the case for many other Marriott properties. In general, the service was clinical with a weak service culture. This aside, the walls in the rooms are thin and you can hear the foot traffic outside and next door. The breakfast was okay for this property tier, but once again service was very minimal. The only redeeming part of the service was when we checked out, the staff on duty then was great and got us a cab quickly. Overall, this is a very functional hotel - if you are simply looking for somewhere to sleep for the night at this price range, it will do but it's not a place I recommend otherwise. There are plenty of other hotel options in Milano.
