침구도 깨끗하고 짐 보관하면 방으로 올려주셔서 오후 늦게 도착해도 문제 없었습니다! 호텔도 너무 예쁘고 특히 1층에 대욕장이 있는데 진짜 피로 풀기도 너무너무 좋았어요. 다음에 마쓰야마 가면 또 묵을거에요. 마쓰야마 가시는 분들께도 추천드리지만, 기본적인 영어와 일본어 단어공부는 하고 가시는 걸 추천드립니다.

Nice hotel with a bit of character. As a Brit I was wary of what kind of atrocities might lie in wait at "Old England", but it was very tastefully done, and probably at no little expense! The room was tasteful and clean, nice design, dinner was as good as can be expected of a hotel fixed menu. Breakfast? Well, it was no full English, but no major gripes here either. Wouldn't mind staying her again. Would give it a 4.5 if I could.

It was a large hotel with an antique British atmosphere. The exterior, common areas, and interior were all lovely, and there was a hot spring. The staff were very friendly and I was very satisfied. It was close to the downtown area, but there was a steep hill (downhill on the way there and uphill on the way back), so it was good exercise.

When we arrived at the hotel, we left our car keys there and had our luggage carried to the front desk, where we were shown to our room after check-in. We were impressed by the friendly staff, which was more than we could have hoped for for the reasonable price. It wasn't too far from the main building, so we headed straight to Asuka no Yu upon arrival, the hotel's hot springs in the evening, and Tsubaki no Yu in the morning, so we enjoyed the hot springs to the fullest. We ate dinner near Asuka no Yu and had breakfast at the hotel, with a choice of Western or Japanese food, which was delicious. After checking out, we had Matsuyama sea bream rice, Uwajima sea bream rice and a tart before heading home. This hotel felt like it was worth more than its price. One thing that bothered us was that the toilet in our room made a loud noise when flushing, which was bothersome. It was disappointing that the ventilation fan in the large public bath made a strange noise so we couldn't relax in it for a while
