Everything’s fantastic. Great room. Very spacious. Excellent housekeeping. The only one imperfection was Yara, who worked at the gym counter. Poor attitude. Not the usual Mandarin Oriental standard. Retraining required.

Developed top rating ! from start to finish Amazing 2 night stay. That's *the* place. Top service, professionalism and kindness from all staff members throughout the entire stay. From the spotless check-in manager to check-out professional ladies, to the staff in the Club, Spa, at the entrance, literally at every single touch point (no names mentioned, not sure if it's allowed here). Great room : bedding, all fixtures are good or high quality (one cannot do without a leather wrapped Nespresso machine:). Big views on skyline and city. Impressive swimming pool , meant for swimming not lounging, and gym. Great breakfast buffets, no queues or excessively noisy even during golden week. Small downside, if one wants to be extra picky: the MO lounge club has great views, nice cocktails and amazing service, but food selection is a bit small and very repetitive (mostly the same 2-3 things a la carte and a couple of, cold-only, buffet options. Also only 1 white , 1 red wine. They could easily improve this with a small investment. Stayed at all big names, most everywhere. These guys are real pros, they should be sent around to teach, train and scold other hotel managers - mass market, hard discount experience with long queues at breakfast (tables placed in corridors near the elevators!!) , noisier than a 60 mln passengers airport and a miserable check-in and out. On the contrary MO Shanghai is very close to my lost-in-translation fascinating experiences at the before-renovation Park Hyatt Tokyo. So a big shout out to those who run MO Shanghai!

Amazing stay at the Mandarin Pudong: service was beyond expectations, room was clean and with nice view, bed and pillows incredibly comfortable, everything was just perfect! I had the chance to try the SPA, simply wonderful, one of the best I’ve ever tried. I got lucky enough to get treated by Lily, who was truly skilled and kind, and thanks to her it made my stay even more memorable.

This is one of the very best hotels. Everything is beyond imagination and when we return to Shanghai we will stay there for sure.

I had an amazing experience at the Mandarin Oriental Shanghai. The service was top-notch—staff were friendly, attentive, and made everything feel effortless. My room was beautiful, with a stunning view of the city and all the little luxury touches you’d expect. The food was incredible (especially the fine dining options), and the spa was a peaceful retreat after a day out. Every detail was perfect. Can’t wait to come back!

Very Luxurious best breakfast buffet good attentive and reasonable price

I came to stay for a birthday staycation and had an absolutely fantastic time at this hotel. The room was beautiful with a wonderful view over the pearl tower, and the bed was very comfortable. I am especially grateful to the amazing staff in the Club Lounge- Zoe, Alaia, Lin & Owen who went above and beyond to make my stay special. All the staff were so welcoming and friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. I would definitely come back to stay here again.

All the hotel staffs are very friendly and provided us wonderful services. The location of the hotel, the food, the renovation and the view are all A grade. They have definitely made me A fan of MO.

Amazing 5 star service from the hotel. they have turn down service they prepare every little details for you like slippers, folding your phone cable, folding all your clothes. i was very amazed the breakfast was also a very good quality. the hotel has indoor heated swimming pool.

We really love our large bed room separated walk in closet connected to bathroom while we are able to see river view . Furthermore we enjoy spending their good service because we asked for an avocado but they don’t served for breakfast but the same staff provided us in another day there are not much choice of breakfast at the club. We love their staffs all lovely with professional service also their housekeeper are very active and love their job

Booked for 2 night, in the end extend more nights as their service is top notch and everything is pretty flexible. The manager is good, gotta his contact for future booking. Planning a week stay next time with my family in a year time. Just that is a pity my view isn't the first corner room.

I spent a night at MO SH with my girlfriend last weekend. Glad that MO always maintains the highest standards for everyone. MO SH is always my first choice when I'm in SH. A huge thank you to Zoe Zhang, the Assistant Club Lounge Manager, and all the staff in the Club Lounge, who made my stay relaxing and enjoyable.
