Mercure Goa Devaaya Resort Reviews

The approach to this resort is via a public ferry from the mainland separated by Mandovi River as it is on an island. The resort is very beautiful and developed on quite a big area. The landscaping on the property is quite impressive too. They have Villas and apartments for you to choose. The rooms are big and nice with all facilities that you expect from a 4 star resort. The housekeeping staff was efficient but Front Office staff lagged behind. The restaurant serves delicious food and the choices in the buffet is quite good too. My only disappointment is that this property was very empty, devoid of guests in the month of March and is not meant for someone like me who would like to see fellow guests around when you leave your room or in a common area. For people who want to totally cut off from everything, this resort might cut in. After 2 days of stay, I shifted to another hotel on the mainland.

So basically We went for our daughter first bday celebration. We wanted it intimate. The location , area , staff & hospitality was out of this world. I want to mention 2 names. Mr Shriniwas Kulkarni & Mr Ashish Rajput. They both are the best personnel at the site. Mr ashish from the restaurant & Mr Kulkarni ji was with us throughout the stay and assisted us eith everything. Loved the place

Just returning from a school reunion at this property. Thirty of us were pampered by their most efficient staff, led by their able General Manager Sanjay Pagie !! Beautiful location, nice rooms, beautifully curated landscape, great food and most courteous staff members. Elizabeth, their sales head coordinated the event beautifully, and every request was taken positively. The property is ideal for reunion get togethers, corporate meets and even social events like weddings Sanjay does run an efficient and effective ship, kudos !! Eat wishes to the team, we shall return :)

Our stay at Mercure Goa Devaaya Resort was delightful from start to finish. We booked directly, and the manager and staff went above and beyond to accommodate all our requests, including rooms rooms next to each other. The beautifully maintained grounds and serene riverfront setting created a relaxing atmosphere. High tea by the river was a memorable highlight, beautifully served with a stunning view. The resort offers fun activities for all ages, keeping everyone entertained. The food was fresh and delicious, with a great variety and innovative mocktails. The informative mocktail class was a fun experience. Special thanks to the front desk for resolving technical challenges to ensure my points were credited, and to the restaurant staff for their thoughtful attention to our children. A perfect destination for a peaceful and well-catered getaway. Highly recommended!

This Resort is for those who love being Exclusive The staff and team were amazing Sankhadip, Hemant, Tereza and Satender showed us their best way of service that we were amazed to see… The Rooms was cozy, everything that a 5 star hotel serves is found here, I recommend one should speak to all staff right from the Greeting to check out… Thank You, Elston Dias Yellow Stones

Devaya is a beautifully maintained resort that truly offers a relaxing and memorable experience. From check-in to check-out, everything was handled smoothly and professionally. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and extremely comfortable. The staff is exceptional, with a special mention to Mr. Ashish at the restaurant, who goes above and beyond to ensure guests feel welcome and well looked after. His attention to detail and warm hospitality added a personal touch to our stay. Overall, Devaya is a perfect blend of comfort, service, and elegance — highly recommended!

We went to Mercure, Divar Island, Goa for lunch.. had an amazing experience..the food, ambiance, hospitality everything was just perfect.. special mention for Ankur, Hlutei and Dhiraj who helped us have a wonderful time at the property.. the location of the property is awesome..a must visit place for sure.. thumbs up 👍

Great food at the hotel restaurant Paani Pouri. The restaurant is by the pool, with a very nice view. Good selection and very well prepared, and an amazing service by Ashish - very friendly and considerate. Will surely come back again. Thank you.
