mileendThis is a charming boutique hotel, exuding a strong Malaccan Nanyang (Southeast Asian) style. The room decor is a delightful blend of European and Nanyang influences, with high-quality materials used throughout. The lobby and public areas feature beautiful and impressive marble, and even the bathroom fixtures in the rooms are top-notch. There's an elevator, which is a great plus, as many smaller hotels often prioritize aesthetics over convenience. The room isn't huge, but it has a balcony – though I didn't use it due to the heat. The air conditioning was excellent, and the shower water pressure was great. The towels weren't brand new, but I always bring my own anyway. The toiletries are L'Occitane, which is a nice touch. Breakfast is semi-buffet style; it has everything you need, and while not super extensive, it's quite good. Each room gets two complimentary coffees to take away daily. There was a male staff member, I think named NASIK, who was incredibly friendly and happy to chat with guests. He was very helpful with luggage and looked quite Chinese, leaving a great impression. Overall, this hotel is excellent. While not directly on the river, the location is still very convenient for exploring and experiencing the local culture. My only gripe is with Trip.com – I don't understand why the price was so high when I booked. I didn't keep an eye on it, and when I checked in, I realized booking on the same day would have been much cheaper. That's likely a platform issue, not the hotel's.

This is a great location for friends who want to visit Jonker Walk, Red House, Qingyun Pavilion, Ancient City Wall and other places. Very close to the scenic spot, within walking distance~
The house is an old-style building with a large space and two floors. Downstairs is the living room and dining room. There is a karaoke system. There is a very comfortable sofa in the living room. People who don’t want to sleep in the upstairs bedroom can sleep on the sofa. The width can be used as a bed~
The second floor is the bedroom, which is very spacious, with a double bed and an extra-large double bed. There is also a long sofa (which can also be used as a bed), and 2 single sofas~
The toilets are both upstairs and downstairs, which is quite convenient~
The management provides 4 extra-large towels, and there are also shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom. There are enough pillows.
Although it is written that only 4 adults can stay, it is no problem for 6 adults to stay~

eagle001The room was very clean and well-equipped, with large windows offering a great view. It's located right above a large plaza, next to the Sultan's Palace, and very close to all the main attractions in Malacca. The breakfast was simple – bread, milk, and eggs, which you could heat up and spread with jam. It was decent enough. The eggs were soft-boiled 'onsen' style, which some people might not be used to.

The location is great, right at the entrance of Jonker Street, making it very convenient for taxis. From the outside, it looks a bit unassuming, but once you step through the hotel doors, it's full of Nanyang charm.
The front desk staff spoke excellent Mandarin and even gave us a free room upgrade. The welcome drink was also delicious. However, there's no elevator, and the stairs are quite narrow, so lugging a big suitcase up to our second-floor room was a real struggle.
The room was spacious, and the bed was huge. We could even see the Jonker Street stage from our window and watch Hunan TV! The only downside was that the shower water wasn't very hot.
Considering it was during the bustling Chinese New Year, the price was really good value for money!

Overall, the experience was acceptable
the ocation was convenient about a 10-15 minute ride to the city centre, which made getting around quite easy.
However, there were several issues during our stay
Cleanliness: We noticed some smallinsects on the floor. While it didn't significantly affect aur stay, it would be better if the rooms could be more thoroughly checked and cleaned.
Customer Service: All communication had to be done online through WhatsApp, as there was no face-to-face front desk service. This was quite unconventional and sometimes made things less convenient when we needed assistance urgently.
Room Equipment: One of the air conditioners in our room kept switching on and off by itself and wasn't functioning properly. Even more concerning, the hairdryer had a short circuit, produced a burning smell, and even sparked flames. This was a frightening experience, and although it was eventually replaced, waiting a full day for such a serious issue was very disappointing.

Good hotel. I had a spacious room with a window and a pleasant view from it. It was clean, with fresh linens and towels. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioning wasn't running at full power, but it cooled the room to a comfortable temperature. The shared shower was a bit inconvenient because there were no hooks to hang towels and clothes, or a shelf to place shower gel or soap. These are small details that are part of the basic necessities. Just like a mirror in the room, which was also missing. But as expected, there are water coolers with free, accessible water. The woman at the reception was very friendly and pleasant. They respond quickly to WhatsApp messages. Check-in was easy. They answer calls. I wish this hotel and its staff prosperity. They are doing a great job. I would gladly stay again, in the same room with flowers in the window.

Lee Oi KengCleanliness and location is good, very near Jonker street. Cons are security wise needs improvement cos anyone can just walk in and especially in the early morning when we came down, the Indian guy was sleeping at the counter and I doubt he knows who went in and out. The room is very spacious but they should provide at leastt a small piece of soap for hand washing. When we arrived at the hotel at about 1pm, since the rooms are available, why can't they just let us check in instead of having to wait till 3pm ( we heard there were less than 10 rooms occupied that night). I was abit unlucky cos 1st room issued to us was a room under maintenance, 2nd room given to us only has a towel and 1 cup for 2 pax in the room and the toilet flushing system broke down in the middle of the night, phone out of order and I had to climb up and down the stairs numerous times to ask for things. No lifts in the hotel.
