Got the family Deluxe room The kids love it because of the slide and the projector. The hotel design is very unique with retro feel but nodren facilities. They provude a DIY tote bag for the kids. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Awesome experience.
The only issue is the carpark which the hotel free carpark is located 5 minutes walk.

First time staying at Baba House Hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean with lifts available for every floor. Loved the decorations in the hotel which gives an ideal of what a Baba’s house really looked like. Location was great as it is within walking distance to Jonker Street with its night market & interesting shops around the vicinity. Spoilt for choice as there are numerous Peranakan restaurants nearby as well as cafes, local delights and chendol.
Many shops selling Malacca local products are also within walking distance. Will definitely be back!

The hotel is conveniently located just one street off Jonker Street. Although the Jonker Street night market can be very lively and loud, the hotel's street itself is remarkably quiet, and it's still very close to all the sights. Right opposite the hotel is an ancestral hall, and there's even a Peranakan museum on the same street. Communication was a breeze as a lady at the front desk spoke Chinese. They have an elevator, which was a pleasant surprise as I initially thought there wasn't one and was ready to haul my luggage up myself! The hotel's decor and furnishings strongly resemble a Peranakan museum. It was quite amusing because I had just visited a Peranakan museum in Penang the day before, and then found myself essentially staying in one the very next day! A buffet breakfast is provided. While the selection isn't vast, everything offered was delicious and hit the spot. I highly recommend visiting the Straits Mosque, especially around dusk!

Good location good hotel, nice place. Mall below is rather pathetic with nothing much.
However do note that address on trip.com is wrong. Please get correct address from host. We went to the wrong address and was totally avoidable if info is accurate.

For those who are afraid of a lot of steps, you will need to take note cos there is no lift to level 2 of the rooms and the toilet has a lot of steps which is a little dangerous. It is very conveniently located near jonker walk, right near where the actions are. Personally, I feel that it can be a little noisy. The reception is nice & the rooms are spacious. We are just very afraid of slipping over the steps in the old school toilet with bath tub. It will be ideal if this is changed to a walk-in shower area. I didn’t take many pictures as we were rushing for time and it was 2 days & one night stay.

Had an amazing time at Timez Hotel. Very clean rooms and bathroom, aside from a bit of dust in certain places. Excellent location, in the heart of jonker street. Easy access to bus drop off points and other landmarks. Complimentary breakfast was great.
The staff is wonderful and friendly, and even got me a birthday gift before I left. When I visit Malacca again, I will definitely choose this hotel again.

Love the Advantage Suite that we booked. It has high ceiling, with both modern and traditional deco. All the furniture are thoughtfully place to make the room more spacious. The bed is very comfortable and there's even a Dolce Gusto in the room. Close by to all the famous spots in Jonker. There's a complimentary breakfast. Would definitely come back.

The location is very convenient especially every friday, Saturday and Sunday, the night market just at the front door of the hotel, but the cleanliness is a doubt, especially the price not very cheap, I can see the stain on the bed sheet, if you really care about the cleanliness recommend you book premium room, maybe they will provide a better room?
For the parking area part, they have provided parking for free, before you park your car can ask the remote from front desk, the parking area just opposite of the bomba station, the parking area quite near to hotel car distance within 1 min, walk distance within 3min can arrive

From Chicken Farm Street is indeed very close on a block location very convenient across the river is the Red House to nearby attractions walk OK sun
Upstairs in the restaurant by the river about the noise actually did not sleep quite well
But checkin need to call the CS (there is a notice at the door) a very difficult little brother will come down to open the door and exit requires a password and there are 2 passwords for the front and back doors
Stayed for 4 nights, no one cleans the room and clears the garbage 🗑️
Not changing towels and sheets is acceptable but not cleaning the garbage this point is not very satisfied because garbage will irritate 🪳
The bathroom has infiltration to the floor of the room needs to be more careful about placing personal items
The TV is set in the furnishings of the app can not operate basic I do not know if the wifi problem or remote control problem give up ....
Other than the location price nothing else 😂

Amazing
AAnonymous UserThe bed was very comfortable, and the decor was exquisite. You could tell the owner put a lot of thought into it, from the large murals to the small vases – the aesthetics were spot on. However, there was a rather strong, unfamiliar smell upon entering the room, which I couldn't get used to. We stayed for one night, checking in a little after 4 PM and leaving around 7:30 AM. During our stay, we didn't encounter a single other guest. Also, the room window wasn't as large as it appeared in the photos, which gave the whole experience a slightly eerie feeling. The towels were quite old and looked like they had seen many years of use; good thing I brought my own disposable ones! On the bright side, the shampoo and shower gel were L'Occitane, which was nice! While I was out exploring, my daughters told me they saw ants near the snack bar. That night, they kept saying they were too scared to sleep, and today they both have bumps on their arms and faces... Upon arrival, the location felt quite isolated; it seemed very out of the way with almost no foot traffic outside (though the upside was quiet, apart from the morning and evening prayers from the temple next door). My daughters were even hesitant to go downstairs. Later that evening, I ventured out and found a restaurant diagonally opposite, a coffee shop nearby, and one end of Jonker Street just about 100 meters away. So, it turned out to be quite lively and convenient after all! The front desk staff didn't speak Chinese, but the young lady working the night shift was incredibly helpful and made us feel very welcome. However, for 943 RM for one adult and two children to stay in a hotel like this... let's just say it was questionable value for money. Finally, I bought a bag from the hotel. I thought the price was 7 RM, but it turned out to be 75 RM in the end! 😂 It really goes to show how important good English communication can be! 😅

Great
GGuest UserNice budget hotel. Sure, there was no TV, wifi was splotchy due to upgrading works, an occasional mosquito that probably flew in from outside. Otherwise, cannot beat the service - very nice friendly staff - always ready to help, can store luggage for short period before check in and after check out, clean space, comfy bed, aircon was great, toiletries smell nice, powerful rainshower and gorpeous toilet bowl with all the electric works. Also, location, location, location. Appreciate being able to pop in and out to escape the heat and rest between visits to attractions. Great food stores, 24hr convenience stores and atmospheric cafes nearby. Despite being so close to Jonker street weekend night market, it was pretty quiet, allowing for good sleep. Definitely coming back on next trip to Malacca.

Great
CCatherineminvOverall, it was very comfortable to live in. The house is very large and has two floors. It has a TV and a KTV. However, I don’t know how to use the KTV. I spent a long time researching it when I first started using it. I brought two small dogs here this time. They are pet-friendly. I prepared the items for the dogs. I have to pay a deposit of RM200 before check-in. It will be refunded after confirmation after check-out. The communication with the landlord was smooth. The location is very close to Chinatown. It is also very close to the Red House and can be reached on foot. The overall experience is very good! Will come back again! The only drawback is that there are a lot of mosquitoes. Even though the homeowner lit mosquito coils, there were still mosquitoes and I got a few bites. I hope the homeowner will pay more attention to mosquito control in the future! Next, the room is close to the road. People who sleep on the side of the window can easily hear the sounds outside. People who sleep lightly are advised to stay away from the window! The bed is very comfortable, with moderate firmness and softness for me. Overall, it’s good. The price was about RM300 when I booked it, so the CP value is good! This time we are staying with 4 people, and the maximum number can be 6 people. The more people there are, the higher the CP value is! If the price hasn’t increased, I highly recommend it!

Ccabeibara1. The location is very good! It is near the ”Fan Bingbing” mural, easy to find, and convenient for eating and shopping in Jonker Street.
2. The owner manages it very comfortably, quietly and cleanly.
3. The homestay provides a tea room and other facilities that can be used freely.
4. A homestay that is very suitable for short stays!
Not suitable for light sleepers because it is a very homely homestay and you can hear the movements of other guests 🙂↕️

GGuest UserThe hotel is located in the Heritage district of Melaka, meaning that it is surrounded by some of the most interesting and prettiest buildings, including cafes and museums. It's close enough to easily get to tourist sites like Jonker Street and the Dutch Square, but far enough away that you don't have to worry about noise disturbing your rest. The inside of the hotel is so pretty. If we had stayed longer, we would have loved to have coffee in the lobby or the courtyard.
Our room was absolutely perfect. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was large and had great water pressure in the shower, and the bathrobes that were provided were lovely and fluffy. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful at all times. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Melaka.

Cleanliness: Standard for a budget hotel.
Environment: It's close to the scenic area, but I personally found it a bit noisy due to daily chanting from a nearby temple.
Service: Acceptable.
Overall, it's a suitable choice offering good value for money, perfect for budget travel.

TTAKUMALocated in Chinatown, it is a very convenient place for sightseeing.
It is a hotel with a retro appearance that makes you feel the history.
It's old, but it's reasonably clean
It was a room with a window, but the shutters facing the courtyard were closed, so it was virtually a windowless room.

Ffrom malaysiaThe location definitely good for tourist, lots of food & store nearby, no need to worry about meals. Transportation is convenience where Grab can access easily there. The receptionist is very friendly and helpful. Security system is good where access card is needed to open the main door. Water dispenser is provided at the lobby area which is very good for us. The room is spacious for 4 adults with luggage. Overall good for the price. Worth it.

LLee Oi KengCleanliness and location is good, very near Jonker street. Cons are security wise needs improvement cos anyone can just walk in and especially in the early morning when we came down, the Indian guy was sleeping at the counter and I doubt he knows who went in and out. The room is very spacious but they should provide at leastt a small piece of soap for hand washing. When we arrived at the hotel at about 1pm, since the rooms are available, why can't they just let us check in instead of having to wait till 3pm ( we heard there were less than 10 rooms occupied that night). I was abit unlucky cos 1st room issued to us was a room under maintenance, 2nd room given to us only has a towel and 1 cup for 2 pax in the room and the toilet flushing system broke down in the middle of the night, phone out of order and I had to climb up and down the stairs numerous times to ask for things. No lifts in the hotel.
