I came back to stay here again. It's been raining heavily lately. The hotel was a bit cheaper than during my previous summer stay, probably because of the rain. It's still as comfortable and secure as ever. The front desk has moved downstairs, and there's a new team working there. My advice remains the same: don't hesitate to ask for anything you need; they'll do their best to accommodate you. For food, you can take a short walk to the old town, where there are many small, delicious eateries.
I checked in quite late that day and my original room was no longer available. However, the front desk staff was incredibly helpful and upgraded me to a suite for free. I was pleasantly surprised to find cooking utensils and a microwave in the suite. The hotel also offers a complimentary shuttle bus to various areas and nearby tourist attractions.
This hotel is located in the heart of the bustling commercial district, making it super convenient for getting around and shopping. The trendy, artistic decor is very unique, and the guest rooms are spacious and clean, equipped with all the latest smart technology. The bedding is soft, and the bathroom amenities are top-notch. The common areas include a pool and a gym, which are really practical. My only minor complaint is that the lower floors facing the street can be a bit noisy; higher floors offer a better experience. The front desk staff is very responsive, and overall, it offers great value for money, perfect for young travelers on a short stay.
A truly comfortable and relaxing stay. I originally booked a Cultural Landmark room, but because it was on a lower floor and quite noisy due to road construction downstairs, the front desk quickly helped me upgrade to a full sea view suite. The turndown service was, as always, warm and cozy, and the gentleman by the poolside was also very attentive. I tried four drinks at the bar; honestly, one of them was quite mediocre, but the manager's service was excellent. He carefully followed up on the taste of the other drinks and even waived the charge for the mediocre one. The front desk staff, as always, maintained the Mandarin Oriental's high standards, even reaching ceiling-level excellence. They were enthusiastic, resourceful, and thoughtful. 👍 This time, I also received a very special souvenir for the first time. I will definitely be back!
I specifically brought my mom here for her birthday. The ambiance, service, and cleanliness were all excellent, as expected from Wynn. Since it was my mom's birthday, the hotel even gave us a small, delicious cake. There was a minor hiccup during our stay: some other guests were being loud in the hallway at night, disturbing our rest. However, the hotel staff did their best to resolve the issue. A big thank you to the staff and the duty manager!
I chose this hotel for a one-night stay in Macau, and it was a great choice. It's super close to Grand Lisboa and Wynn, just a few minutes' walk away. Right next door is New Yaohan, and there are buses right outside its entrance, plus other bus stops nearby. There are also two SaSa stores directly across the street. The location is absolutely fantastic! The front desk staff were very friendly and even gave me a voucher for the bar that night and executive lounge access. My only minor complaint is that breakfast was pretty average with not much variety. The bathroom had a bathtub with a shower curtain, which wasn't the most convenient. Overall, though, it offers good value for money.
I've lost count of how many times I've been to Macau, probably over ten. And almost every time, I've stayed at this hotel (it's my go-to whenever I'm on the peninsula), so it's always been in my favorites.
The location is super convenient, right in the heart of the peninsula, making everything walkable.
The hotel service is fantastic, from the front desk staff to the friendly guy (always smiling and polite) who opens that heavy glass door at the entrance.
The room hygiene is excellent – clean and meticulous. The cleaning ladies on the floor are all wonderful. I don't usually need much housekeeping since I'm a bit of a clean freak (I disinfect things like the remote, doorknobs, and light switches with alcohol upon arrival). From my own cleaning process, I can tell the hotel has outstanding hygiene control. I typically stay 5-6 nights and don't need much service, just water refills. But the cleaning ladies are always enthusiastic about getting me what I need and even ask if I need anything else or if I have enough supplies. It's really heartwarming.
See you next time, Macau!
Overall, I'm very satisfied with my stay at this hotel in Macau. It offers great value for money and a fantastic location, right opposite Wynn, making it very convenient for getting around. The hotel feels a bit dated, and the facilities are a bit old, but the cleanliness is decent, and the shower pressure is excellent, which I was quite happy with. It's definitely a good value option on the Peninsula.
The hotel service is very good, but the facilities are a bit old. I learned that the upper floors of the hotel are also being renovated, and I am looking forward to seeing the results. After all, in Macau, this hotel is still very desirable.
The hotel is a bit old, so the facilities feel a bit dated, but the cleaning lady was very enthusiastic, and the linens were clean. There's renovation work going on in the building, so it was noisy. The absolute best thing about this place is its location. It's perfect for anyone looking to do a deep dive into Macau's casinos. Wynn and StarWorld casinos are right across the street, and it's just a few minutes' walk to the old and new Grand Lisboa. After clearing customs at Gongbei Port, you can take the free shuttle bus from Wynn or StarWorld directly here. I'll definitely stay here again next time, and I'm sure by then the renovations will be finished and the room facilities improved.
