Nice and comfortable - lovely and friendly service from the receptionists. The sheets were not extremely soft but the towels were lovely: the yardstick to judge a hotel by, in my opinion. Really good central location too, surrounded by the old town and lots of pubs, bars, restaurants.

It was great stay, location clean but no refrigerator in the room. Even though the area is busy, the room was quiet. Simple room and good service as well.

The check in very easy and the hotel has great bag hood service. The rooms are fine in an old school house sorta style (if that’s your thing?). They also have free water sparkling and still which is nice

Arriving at the hotel's reception desk, I was struck by how old and rundown it was. It felt like I was entering a ghetto, and I even feared for my safety. The elevator moved at a snail's pace, making a creaking noise. Opening the door to my room was even more shocking. The door lock still required a key. The interior was so old and worn that it was completely unsightly. I was shocked. I think Ctrip should remove this hotel from its listings.

The hotel gave us a room on the top floor with a great view of the sunrise, which was amazing!

Good hotel, very simple room but spacious and comfortable. Spacious bathroom with a great shower. The place is busy at night, so it can be a bit noisy, but it didn't bother us. The location is good; you can see a lot on foot. Parking is paid separately; on this occasion, we were able to park on the street, but it's a paid zone, so be aware of the opening hours. I'm not sure if the coffee is good; we ended up having it at the local cafes because the prices are much lower. As a tip, I liked this hotel much more than the one right across the street (L'academie, under the same ownership). I would stay again!

Great atmosphere. Courteous staff. Nice and clean rooms. Wonderful balcony. Terrace for guests. Perfect location in the old town. Great for exploring all of Lyon on foot.
