Luganodante definitely like you (us)! Staff were welcoming and knowledgeable. Room is clean and cosy. Had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant/bistro - flame grill - awesome service! The only regret was staying there for just one night, wish we had stayed longer. Will definitely choose to stay at Luganodante again if we are back. Thank you team! IMPORTANT TIP: please take the funicular - Lugano Città - from the Lugano Stazione to the hotel (just stop outside the hotel, very convenient). If feeling adventurous, proceed to enjoy the walk/hike down to the hotel from the station.

Good location

It is a very new boutique hotel located in the old town, and it is very convenient to walk around. After getting off the train, you can take their tram directly on the -1 floor (a public transportation train runs every 5 minutes, and the first stop is about 2 minutes away and it is on the right). After checking in, the hotel will send you an email allowing you to use all public transportation in Lugano for free. The room is not very big, but it is very cozy in design, and the small details are well arranged, such as the choice of pillows (which is really great), multi-national chargers that do not require converters, etc. The mini bar in the room is also completely free, and the bathroom supplies are all organic (toilet, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner). But what's a pity is the breakfast. The selection is okay, but there are too few hot foods and they are not hot. At the same time, the taste is really ordinary (although the breakfast area is the same as the Michelin restaurant, it is really not as expected). The hotel staff are very nice! It deserves great praise! Also, because I didn't want to go out, I decided to have dinner at Flame, recommended by Michelin, downstairs. The overall product was really good and worth experiencing, especially the ingredients. I could tell that the ingredients were very good, but the taste was a little salty. Guests staying in the hotel enjoy an additional 10% discount.

A clean and comfortable boutique hotel with a rich and delicious breakfast. The staff are warm and generous. It is very close to the free train shuttle bus, but I didn't know about it, so when I checked in, I walked to the hotel with my luggage.

Hotel that confirms its fame. After the 2020 restyling, the more contemporary environment is perhaps less "warm" but it is still very welcoming. The staff is always attentive and helpful. Impeccable room and services, excellent quality of sleep. Extraordinary breakfast, as always.
