Location was good while the room is so dirty. Trash in the room is fulled since i checked in until i left. There are dirt on the floor which included cutting nails that so disgusting. My bed looked like they didnโt clean or wash bedsheet and blanket.
I booked women only room but the balcony is connected to other room so other people can come in this room. Moreover, air conditioner is not cool so it was very hot inside the room. Therefore someone who stayed in the same room open all the doors and windows to let wind flow.
I stayed at the lower bed and canโt sleep well because whenever the one who stayed at the upper flipped over or did something, the bed will be vibrated repeatedly. Even the rule is one locker per bed but my locker was taken by someone in the room. I even didnโt have any private locker.
They provided towel but you need to pay $2 extra for rent it.

Every time I walk, the floor makes a squeaking sound. There's always something sticky on the floor.

Bedbug was found in the room. Let me organize this hostel's response by timeline. The response of the hostel was worst ever. The stay date was 5/26-5/29.
1. Early in the morning over the 27th-28th, we found and killed a bedbug. Additional bedbugs were found and captured. There were no hostel staff, so we contacted the emergency contact network, but they did not receive any calls. From that night until 11 o'clock, it was impossible to communicate with the hostel owner. So at dawn, for the public good, we wrote a review of the hostel.
2. At 28 noon, we was able to communicate with the hostel owner. The hostel owner offered me a day's refund, the option to move rooms, and the option to return 27-29 days and leave the hostel. What's surprising is that they asked me to delete their review of the hostel in exchange for the above. We felt bad about the hostel owner, so I accepted the offer first. However, we wasn't convinced, so we wrote additional reviews at 1pm.
3.
Around 3 o'clock, hostel's owner wrote in our review that what we wrote was black mail, and that we were a group of people who carried bedbugs and scammed to make money. He also said that he had been tipped off by another hotel.
4. Our luggage was all in the hostel, and we felt a huge threat because we had to go pick up our luggage. So we deleted one review. Our luggage was there, so we had no choice but to make excuses because one of us didn't recognize the situation.
5. In the end, we were forced to reach an agreement with the hostel's owner as stated in No. 2 due to the threat. However, after the discussion was completed, it became very difficult to communicate. I was unable to contact the owner directly, and I was also not informed of the refund method clearly. Therefore, I tried to communicate with the owner for the last time before I found our luggage and moved somewhere else.
6.The hostel lobby said they couldn't connect us directly, and Yuri couldn't get a clear answer on the refund process. All they said was that they would give us a refund according to the policy through the site, and the amount was tax-free and commission-free. Not knowing the exact refund process, we ultimately decided to ask the hostel reservation site for a refund request. (Trip.com )
7. After we booked another hotel and went to bed, we received a reply from the reservation site that the hostel owner refused the refund request. It was the same if I asked again. We wrote this article to edit and post the current Google review, and we are planning to post this article. Attached is a picture of all the reasons below. I am very disappointed with the hostel's response.

The room is relatively clean, the service is good, and there is a separate kitchen where you can cook your own meals. The guests are also quite friendly. It is a very good experience. Thank you

It is safer because there are residential areas around Koreatown. It is very convenient to walk to Korean restaurants and small shops such as massage and nail art in 1 minute. There are also Korean supermarkets H Mart and Korean shopping malls Korean Plaza around. I like to visit Kpop related stores the most.
I have lived here for a long time, made friends, and left very good memories that I will never forget.

To be honest, I was nervous because there weren't many Korean reviews, but the price was so reasonable that I made a reservation. 70,000 won for 3 days and 2 nights is too cheap for a traveler without money haha.. Here is an honest review for Koreans!
(Advantages)
1. Good price
I made a reservation for about 36,000 won per night. About a month before departure
I made a reservation through Trip.com, and when I checked on *******, the price was similar, but Trip.com was slightly cheaper due to the airline ticket-linked promotion.
It was cheaper than a Korean motel (even though it was a shared room...) and there was no additional cost at all that I was worried about. It ends with the amount you reserved! It's so true.
However, there is no additional charge if you bring your own lock/towel. Because I need it
If you ask at the counter, they will probably lend you towels for $2 each.
If you want to stay at Loomis Hostel, a padlocked towel is a must!!!
2. Excellent cleanliness
Because of the price, I almost wanted to give up on cleanliness.
The condition of the bed and bedding were all flawless.
To be honest, I thought it would be a bit dirty, but it wasn't like that at all.
Bathrooms are also really important, but there are so many bathrooms.
There is no need to wait and the many restrooms are kept clean.
I really liked it. I think the host is probably a bit sensitive to cleanliness.
A cleaning person comes every morning and cleans each and every bathroom.
They clean it.. For a hostel in this price range, the cleanliness is really good.
It's great!
3. Convenience of transportation
I'm a student traveler with no money, so I never call Uber wherever I go.
I used public transportation. Bus stop (where you can go to Lax)
There is one within 3-5 minutes.
There is a subway station and a bus stop within a 15-minute walk (you can go to Hollywood), and the road is large and wide, so it's not dangerous and I think it's a great location to use public transportation. I travel around LA using buses and subways, and the cost of travel is less than $20 :)
The map is so good that it's easy to find.
I took a bus from LA Airport to the hostel, which took a little over an hour.
4. Other advantages
- You can make foreign friends (As an extreme introvert, it was my first time traveling alone, so I felt a bit lonely, but I had one good friend who actively talked to me. There is a meeting place near the front desk and kitchen. If you feel lonely, go and join in the conversation. People from various cultures come together to create good synergy.)
- Breakfast provided!! To poor me lol.. a ray of lightโฆ It makes no sense to even provide breakfast at this price.. There are 4 slices of bread per person, coffee, pancakes (I can't see anyone making them...), Nutella and peanut butter, etc. It's a good way to fill up your stomach!
- It's not an advantage, but the tip is as mentioned above.
Personal lock / Multiple personal towels depending on the number of days / Required.!!
+I think it would be good to have a plastic bag to store things.
+ About a wet tissue..? I donโt know about anything else, but donโt forget your padlock towel ~~
(disadvantage)
1. I donโt have my own space(?)
It's so obvious, but it's not just my room like a motel or hotel.
There are bound to be some uncomfortable things.
Guests sharing a room snore,
Either they are people who do **, or they are active early in the morning and come in noisily...
If you don't wash well or have sensitive senses of smell, hearing, etc., use a little more.
It can be hard.
(The person named ** came in on the last night of my stay.
It was difficult because the smell was a bit unpleasant.. haha)
Still, there is a screen for all the needles, so I use that.
It's okay to use AirPods or earplugs! Itโs a hostel!!
2. Luggage storage
This is related to not having my own space.
It is stored in a shared locker with a lock.
For things like suitcases that are too bulky to fit, just store them anywhere in the room.
I store it in the lobby, but honestly, even if there is a lock on the suitcase, I feel a little uneasy. Someone could take it away, and to be honest, you can just cut the lock off... A part-timer who works in the hostel lobby said that at first.
Since there is no CCTV and it is a bit dangerous, the most important thing is that you have no choice but to manage your luggage thoroughly haha..! You really have to pay close attention and take good care of yourself!!
Despite all these shortcomings, I strongly recommend it to student travelers like me who have no money or who want to travel cheaply. I think it's great enough for this price. I am 10000000% willing to visit again. As long as you are not too sensitive and take good care of yourself, it is a perfect accommodation with no accidents at all!
I hope this detailed review was helpful and have a safe and happy trip!
