Very good location. Old building and inside of the hotel. The slowest elevator I ever met đ very nice staff, reception working 24/7. Good breakfast. Clean enough room. Very nice morning coffee spot just around the corner. Thank you

**Absolutely Horrendousâstay away !**
**Avoid This Disaster of a HotelâNot Worth a Single Dollar!**
I have never encountered a hotel in such **unlivable** conditions. The floor is visibly slanted, and we dropped a ball, it rolled across the room on its ownâyes, itâs that bad. The door? We were shocked that the door of the room cannot be locked upon exiting. The hotel staff advised that we have to **slam it shut** just to get it to close properly.
The bed was another disaster. The mattress was slanted and completely ruined, making sleep impossible. My husband literally rolled off the bed just by turningâitâs absurd! when we requested a room change and requested for a room change the staff flat-out refused.
Speaking of the staffâtheir attitude was **terrible**. When we raised our concerns and requested a cancellation due to the unacceptable conditions, they dismissed our complaints and declined our request without offering any solutions.
When we complained about the roomâs unlivable condition and asked to cancel, the man at the counter proudly told us that he was the one making the decisions and that no hotel would allow cancellations, as if thatâs a reasonable excuse for trapping guests in a subpar establishment. Instead of addressing our concerns, he shrugged us off.
Avoid this place at all costs. It is beyond unacceptable and no guest should be treated this way.

However, we understand this may not suit everyoneâs preferences.You rightly pointed out a problem with the door, which had not been brought to our attention prior to your stay. Once reported, our maintenance team addressed the issue immediately and resolved it. Prior to the fix, our front desk staff offered a room move, which you declined. This offer was also repeated again during your early departure, and again, you chose not to accept it. At no point was your request for a room change refused by our staffâquite the opposite.In regards to your cancellation request, I must clarify that this was not due to the condition of the room, as stated in your review. Instead, your request was based on having found a better rate for the remainder of your stay. As with most hotels, rate discrepancies found after check-in do not qualify as valid grounds for a free cancellation or refund. Our team acted entirely within standard industry practice in declining this request.You were never âtrappedâ in any way. You were presented with several options, including a room move, on multiple occasions. Unfortunately, you chose not to pursue any of these solutions. To suggest otherwise is both misleading and unfair to the staff who genuinely tried to assist you.We always welcome feedback, positive or negative, when it is fair and constructive. The location was quite great, about 10min walk from Victoria Railway Station. The facilities were also nice, worth the price. In addition, the staff were very helpful, especially with our luggages problems. Recommend!

Great location for exploring London attractions. A 10 minute walk from Victoria Station and approx. 7 minute walk from Pimlico.
Room was small but clean, bed was very soft with a very thick mattress.
We stayed on the 5th floor and water pressure was quite poor.
The continental breakfast was great, offered a good selection and staff catered to it well.
Overall, the staff were outstanding, tending to any needs best as they could.
Hairdryer was available in the room (although minorly hidden) and an iron was available upon request.

My sister and I stayed for 1 night, to watch Wicked at the Apollo victoria, the room 506 was a good size , very clean and had everything possible needed.
Everything is in walking distance perfect location for a bit of site seeing around london too.
Will definetly use again in the future.
All staff we had contact woth was reallu helpful and friendly.
Also have a luggage room where you can leave your case prior to check in.

We have booked three twin rooms, and the size of the rooms varies. The smallest room could not even place any luggage. It causes a lot of trouble for this trip and I definitely not recommend if you are traveling with families. The front desk also did not provide suitable help as well. Have been here the second time yet not recommended anymore even though the price looks nice in this location

The good thing was the mattress was comfyâŠ
The bad is that it was hotter than hell itself, no AC and the only type for fan was a tower fan that sounded like having a jet in the room, barely blew any air for the noise and was filthy. Also, shower hose was in dire need of replacing as was also filthy. Pillows like paving slabs. Lift also felt very dodgy.
Great location though but there were probably better options for similar costs within 100m.

The only thing missing was air conditioning. But 35 degrees in London is extremely rare anyway.

Lovely hotel in a great location, close to rail/coach/tube stations, and local shoos and restaurants. There is the option of breakfast if you like for an extra charge. The staff are welcoming and friendly and reception is manned 24/7. Can also leave your luggage securely after check out if you want to spend the day exploring London. Rooms are small, but clean and comfortable with ensuite bathrooms, tea and coffee making facilities and a hairdryer. This is a Victorian townhouse so corridors and hallways are narrow, but there is a lift to all floors. Really enjoyed staying here and will stay again next time I visit London

Hotel is in a great location. Hotel itself wasnât the best but you get what you pay for. Very noisy but that was maybe due to our room being next to the elevator. Room was small. Ordered room service didnât arrive went to reception a few hours later to ask about it and advised it needed to be collected from reception although paid for room service. Make that make sense!

we booked their quad room which was located beside the lift.. it was impossible to get a good night rest as you can hear loud creaking noise coming from the wall when lift is in operation..we asked for a replacement room but the lady in the lobby said all quad/sharing rooms are near the elevator and gave us ear plugs instead.. we also complained about the stained toilet and toilet seat but she just shrugged her shoulders as a response..

I had a 3 night break in London. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. It was a small room but had everything I needed. The hotel was very quiet and I slept well. I felt very safe as a solo female traveller.
I did not try the breakfast here.
