The room was nice and comfortable, however the walls are paper thin. Could hear talking and doors shutting all through the night

The room is a bit small, but the layout is reasonable, very warm and sufficient. The surrounding transportation is very convenient. If you are not close to Victoria Transportation Hub, the subway, train and bus are very convenient. You can also run to Hyde Park

The hotel is extremely clean and well located, most tourist attractions are within 25-30 minutes walking distance.

The location was good and the staff were very friendly.

Perfect hotel! Magnificent neighborhood! Staff who take great care of travelers! Nothing to say ! Don't change 😊

The room is a bit too small

Property located in an exceptional location near Victoria Station. Excellent cleaning. Downside was that we were given room on top floor under roof, no lift, and it was extremely small.

To be completely honest I wouldn't book this hotel in a hurry. The pictures look nice and fancy and clean however my room was definitely not. For a start there is mould across the ceiling and corner of the room , dust is everywhere it's as though it wasn't cleaned before we arrived, tv is loose on the wall but isn't even working, and room size is not accurate to the image I am walking sideways to get into the bed. Breakfast I was asked 5 times what my room number was, but food was not fresh everything was hard. This hotel is NOT suitable for someone with a disability. There's no lift and I've to walk up 8 flights of stairs to get to my room. Very disappointed!!!

What was supposed to be a deluxe room turned out to be something quite different. A room so small that there was no room for a chair. fair to say the facilities in the room were clean and as you would expect for a deluxe room. However a very poor assortment of tea/coffee. On arrival at the Hotel I was asked for full payment, although I had already paid half the payment up front. A week later I'm still waiting for the refund, and having to contact my bank to secure the refund. At the time this left me £170.00 down in my account!!! Upon returning to the Hotel I found my wet towels still lying where I left them, and marks left on the sink where I had swilled out the coffee cup the night before. Plus there is no lift so you need to be aware there are lots of stairs to climb.

Nandini and all the other staff were so helpful and really enhanced my stay, lovely rooms and good location. Recommend sanjugo for great food nearby. Very comfy beds and lovely decor. Big telly and refreshing shower. Would visit again. Thank you.

Very disappointed. Single room on the fourth was very difficult to access with a suitcase. WiFi did not work. TV did not work which I reported and was told it would be sorted, but it wasn’t. Room was ridiculously small. I would not stay here again.

Booked a room for 7 nights at this budget hotel for a seemingly impossible (low) price. This little townhouse hotel exceeded our expectations; modern attractive decor in rooms, comfortable beds, awesome shower and very clean throughout. We arrived too early for check-in, but were invited to store our luggage while we explored London. When we returned at their stated check-in time we were given our room key and asked if we needed our luggage brought up to our room. (Note: there is no elevator in this hotel.) Room was small but with new high-end finishes throughout. Excellent temperature control !! (May have been a first in all of our years of traveling.😄) Empty luggage (5 pieces) fit under the beds. Drawers and wardrobe held all of our clothes. Extra hangers were provided when requested. After unpacking our room appeared clean and uncluttered. Amazing shower: both rainfall shower head and removable hand held shower head. Beds were extremely comfortable, enhanced by a generous supply of pillows and thick, soft, sheets and blankets. Blackout curtains and a quiet neighborhood made this a pleasant oasis to return to each night. Complementary WiFi, hairdryer and laundry service were a rarity for a London hotel. Continental breakfast is also free, but you’ll want to try the excellent local breakfast restaurants within walking distance. Best of all, Victoria underground and bus stations are just a few blocks down the street! You will enjoy this small, clean, stylish townhouse hotel.

I recently stayed at The Portico on 11th July and had an extremely disappointing customer service. *Firstly, the front desk lady was unfriendly and unhelpful. I was not greeted with a smile or made to feel welcome. When I inquired about local attractions, they seemed annoyed and provided minimal information.* The room itself was not properly cleaned. I found hair on the bathroom floor and the bed sheets seemed unchanged from the previous guest. Despite requesting housekeeping, the room was not serviced during my entire stay.The receptionist lady showed a complete lack of concern for guest satisfaction and did not offer any solutions or compensation for the inconveniences I faced.
