The staff were very friendly and provided an easy check in. This is sadly where the positives ended: - no aircon or fan available. This meant opening the window, however the DLR went right past our window interrupting our sleep. This was also frustrating when getting dressed in the morning as commuters were eye level with the room. - no phone in the room to call reception (to solve above issue/other) - no glasses to have a drink of water, encouraging plastic bottle use.

Spacious, clean, and close to the airport, convenient location for early morning flights ✈️ The surrounding area is very quiet and calm ♪ Above all, the clean and spacious rooms are the best.

I stayed at the hotel to use London City Airport, so it was close and nice. However, you had to pay a separate fee of £3 to use the internet. That didn't make me feel very good.

The rooms are very cozy.. plus the breakfast was very nice and fresh. Shumi served us. She really helped us and accommodated us .. the kids were very happy with shumi.

Booked in at LCY Travelodge after a late show in London. As always, clean, tidy room with comfortable bed. Good sound proofing meant uninterrupted sleep, even when the planes started. Helpful and efficient reception staff made check in quick and facilitated my request. Basic but well cooked and stocked unlimited breakfast where Shumi was a very attentive and helpful host. A budget hotel but excellent value.

Very friendly welcome at the reception and then Daniel was particularly helpful ordering our food and drinks. His cheerful personality was above and beyond the norm and made our stay a pleasure. He's a real star.

For a relatively modern airport hotel, it’s amazing that it has no aircon, even in the ‘premium’ room which we had paid extra for. The room was very hot so we had to keep the window open - so had a restless night due to noise from DLR trains and early flights. To make matters worse the sofa bed wasn’t made up as expected and was covered in hairs, and the kettle wasn’t working (but was replaced when we asked). The evening food in the restaurant was ok but took 30 mins to arrive, as the kitchen staff appeared to be overstretched. Overall a disappointing experience.

The place is too close to the airport and a DLR line runs just behind it. With the summer heat and windows being open, the room was always filled with noise. I had to pay more than £50 a week for parking and £15 for WiFi as a customer The fire alarm went off at least 3 times in the week I was there. On one of this occasion, we waited at the reception for minutes with no one telling us what was happening. One staff member announced that we had to leave the building before another one shortly announced that everything was ok. No proper explanation as to what was wrong.
