The reception area is nice and cozy, so is the room. Room is a bit small but uncomfortable. Design of bathroom is compact but shower cant seem to keep water in, even though the shower cubicle door is close shut. It must be a problem as the bathroom timber door is warped from the water on the floor.
Besides the shower, it was a pleasant stay as it’s located near train station n able to walk everywhere easily

The hotel staff were all friendly and the location was really good. The welcome drink provided by the nearby Browns Boutique Hotel was also good. The soundproofing wasn't that great, but I think it was okay because there was no one on the same floor who was noisy.

The location is good. It takes 5 minutes to walk north to the square and transportation hub, and 2 minutes to walk south to the river.
It faces the street, but the soundproofing is very good. There are toiletries, but no disposable slippers.
No matter how many days you stay, the room only provides one bottle of free water, and the second bottle starts at 2 euros, but there is a water dispenser at the front desk for filling.

Brown's has three hotels, all of which are not far away, within a few minutes' walk, very close to the city, and there are many restaurants around

Stayed for four nights.A great location as literally just around the corner from shops, restarants etc,and a couple of minutes walk to the metro station.Nice room with all the facilities you need.Had a couple of breakfasts at their sister hotel,Browns Central, which is a hundred yards away.Very good choice of hot and cold food. The hotel is in an old converted building which has wooden floors.Consquently every time someone in the room above,or adjoining, moves around you hear it due to squeeking floors. Were it not for that i would have given it five stars.ps all staff spoke excellent English and were friendly and professional.

Just a few blocks from the arc of Rua Augusta, this hotel is what you need for a stay in Lisboa. Near all the touristy places and attractions. It’s a three-Star hotel, but don’t get fooled for that category. I’ve been to 4-star hotels that have been worse. My room, 216, was small but neat. Nice decoration, and the bathroom had an enclosed shower that was perfect. After you did your business, all remained dry and steam free. That was awesome. I just have one complaint. When booking online at the hotel website I chose the option of bed and breakfast. Well, breakfast is not served there, but in another hotel of the group that’s one block away. That was a disappointment to me, because nowhere on their website there’s a disclaimer on that. So, if it weren’t for this, my rating would be higher.

Stayed for 2 nights in September 2024. The location is very convenient. 2 minutes walk from the Metro station, which will link you with the airport in around 30 minutes. The room was comfortable - with large bathroom, comfortable bed, air-con and coffee making facilities. The staff were friendly, although whilst checking in on the evening 21/09, it was frustrating that another guest couple barged in to ask about an organised tour for the next day. I think the receptionist was taken aback as we were, by how rude these 2 fellow guests were, and she did try to say to them 'I am dealing with a check in', but they didn't get the message. We felt that the breakfast cost of 18 euro per head was a little steep, and as such we picked up pastries from around the corner. Alfama is within easy access either on foot or via tram. The tram stop is 2 streets down the road towards the coast. Tram wise, get there in the morning as early as you can! The 28 is probably a none-starter due to how busy it gets, but we took the number 12 which was much less busy and still went through all the old streets.

I loved the castle view, I loved the design and the fact, that everything is chosen with great taste and care. The location is perfect as one can venture out on foot, explore, shop, dine, listen to Fado Music. The departure points for trams , busses and ferries are just round the corner.

Very good hotel boutique with compact rooms, and nice design in the historical center of Lisbon. The rooms are sound proof and have all the amenities inclusive espresso coffee machine. Decent price. Close to everything. Totally recommended.

The hotel sent us a nice letter informing us of construction next door. We didn’t know that the walls were adjourning somewhat. The first room given to on their highest level, 5th floor was too loud with the construction. It felt like they were jack hammering literally on our walls and causing some vibration. Because I prone to migraines, we requested for another room. We were given a room on the first floor. It helped a lot with the noise. However the first couple no of nights had intermittent to none existent internet. Because we are traveling, it’s vital to preserve our data. They have 2 other sister hotels within a 2 blocks where we can use the internet. It was fine by day 3. The worse part of the hotel was the fact that there was no air conditioning at night. We were told that the air conditioning is only provided to 30% of the rooms and it’s random as to which room receives it. They gave us a fan. It was like trying to sleep in a cave since we cannot open the window that back up against a dirty nook between other buildings they do not own. It was colder outside and sometimes, the lobby had AC. Having no AC made it miserable especially on hot humid days. The hotel gave us a free bottle of water each day and to help, gave us free vouchers to their buffet breakfast during the duration of our stay. People were really nice. The room itself was clean but the bathroom was tiny like the airplane or cruise ship.

AC was not workin 2 out of 3 nights of our stay. Staff was ambivalent, initially trying to suggest it was the heat outside and then just admitting there is a problem when the hotel is at full capacity. Not what you expect from an emerging brand, and not the kind of service you wish to encounter from any hotel.
