3 wonderful nights at this hotel. Firstly, for those who travel with big suit cases, yet want to enjoy the proximity to ancient town (no vehicles in the ancient town perimeter) this is best location. It is outside Shuhe ancient town, literally like 5 seconds awa on foot, you dont have to drag your suitcases on cobbled street, the taxi or didi could drop you at the doorstep. I have seen travellers dragging suitcases along the cobbled street inside the town, not fun. The hotel was tastefully designed and quiet with a water courtyard in them middle 四合院, very classy and serene. The bedroom was spotless and large with a large and clean bathroom and toilet. Housekeeping service daily. I had room 202, it had the snow mountain view. If anything is even better than the hotel room, it is the service. The manager, 波姐，assisted by 小妹 and 小弟。The fantastic 3! They helped to make my trip unforgetable, making ticket and transport reservation for me. Preparing takeaway breakfast at crack of dawn as alI I needed to leave early for day trip. And, the sincerity makes the place feel home awsy from home. This hotel suits all need, single, family with kids, friends and couples. You will find the dream room here in this hotel. It is spacious, there would be a corner for every one. Location, location, location and best service!

Our short stay was a wonderful and pleasant experience. The receptionist girl who was on duty during my stay (5th & 6th April 2025) is the best. She really took care of me during the stay. Overall, if you're looking for a hotel at Shuhe ancient town. Look no further, book at Lijiang Joy Dream Boutique Resort. It is at the North Gate of shuhe. Near to so many restaurants and mini market and a bakery.

This boutique hotel is so beautiful, well designed and decorated, we were stunned by the hotel decoration, feel the serenity and very calming and relax feeling. Room is very spacious, bed and pillows are comfortable and clean. and we can view Yulong snow mountain from the room's window! Hotel staff is friendly and helped to book Yulong snow mountain trip, knowing we can't make it for the breakfast due to our excursion trip, they even prepare snacks and milk to next morning. We also have complimentary afternoon tea. Location: it just right infront of Shufe old town entrance. superb! Long message cut short, i will recommend this hotel to anyone who visit Lijiang!

Lovely hotel with beautiful common spaces and rooms. The manager on site was the absolute sweetest lady, she cooked us breakfast and made us feel at home.

I love this B&B so much. The rooms are spacious and the location is convenient. It's right by the north gate of Shuhe Ancient Town, with parking available for self-drive cars and easy access to taxis. The B&B is wonderful, with a viewing platform, a tea room, and the opportunity to play table tennis and billiards. The owner is also very welcoming and attentive. I only stayed for a day this time, but I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Lijiang.

It's very close to the north gate of Shuhe Ancient Town, a one-minute walk. It has its own parking lot, making it convenient for both drivers and rental cars.
