I absolutely loved my stay here. I only stayed for a night, but the inn was conveniently located in the Shuhe Old Town. The owners had one giant Samoyed dog and a tinier dog, making the stay even better. The room got cold at night, but there was a heated blanket. The owner helped bring me and my luggage to the exit once I checked out; which was really nice. The courtyard had a pool/pond which was very nice. The only part I didn’t quite enjoy was that when the water was running in the bathroom, there would be a few tiny crawling bugs coming out of the drain but they remained in the bathroom and disappeared after so I didn’t mind too much.

I came to Shuhe ten years ago. I came again this time for hiking and to see Jiulongtan again. It was the off-season, and there were many hotels to choose from. I booked this inn without any expectations. I kept asking the owner to help me with express delivery. The owner was very nice and provided thoughtful service. It was a bit cold in Lijiang at night in February. Fortunately, there were small heaters and electric blankets in the inn. I could enjoy a leisurely and dazed life during the day, and watch the bonfire singing and dancing in Sifang Tingyin Square at night. The advantage of Shuhe is that it is quieter than Dayan Ancient Town, closer to the snow-capped mountains, and convenient to go to Baisha Town to see the sunrise Jinshan. See you next time.

I drink tea and chat with him in the courtyard. I feel that there is no need to visit the surrounding attractions. I will stay at their house next time I come.
