Staying here for second time. The room was a bit old and the curtain doesn’t work well but as a solo traveler, it was ok. The door is not well soundproof. I would prefer the first time I stayed here. However, with this price in HK, I would say I am still ok with overall experience.

The hotel's location isn't as ”super convenient” as some reviews claimed. After getting off at Wong Chuk Hang MTR, I still had to drag my luggage for about 10 minutes. There are absolutely no restaurants or local eateries right below the hotel. The closest dining options are back at the MTR station's mall.
If you arrive during the day, it's probably fine, but for late-night arrivals like myself, walking that path was actually quite eerie. It's in an industrial area, and the whole street had a bit of a ”Hong Kong horror movie” vibe to it. Also, even though the room was newly renovated, there was a layer of dust on everything inside (the kettle, hangers, etc.). What truly bothered me in the end was how incredibly noisy the air conditioner was; it woke me up several times throughout the night. The only upside is the price, which was genuinely good. For a few hundred bucks, getting such a spacious room with a bathtub in Hong Kong is excellent value for money. So, I guess the downsides are negligible given the price. 😂

This hotel is super convenient! It's just a few minutes' walk (around 300 meters) from Wan Chai MTR station, and there are bus and tram stops right downstairs. Plus, there's a Starbucks just below, which is a lifesaver for coffee lovers. I stayed at the Empire Hotel Tsim Sha Tsui the night before, and in comparison, the Empire Hotel Wan Chai was more affordable and felt a bit newer. The room was small but spotless, and for Hong Kong hotel prices, it was excellent value for money.

Facilities: For a family-friendly hotel, the pool is perfect for toddlers and young children! There's also a small play area that costs HKD 110.
Cleanliness: Very clean, tidy, and well-maintained.
Environment: Built by the sea and next to Ocean Park, the scenery is beautiful, and the sea view is top-notch.
Service: We drove there, and overnight parking cost HKD 500, which is quite expensive. Aside from the front desk staff, who weren't great, the rest of the service was good.

I chose this hotel purely based on a student's recommendation. She had stayed here with her child and had such a good experience that she even gave me detailed subway directions from West Kowloon Station to the hotel. Following her instructions, the first thing I saw after exiting the subway was Ocean Park, right next to the hotel, and then the distinctively designed hotel itself. Upon entering the lobby, just as my student had mentioned, most of the guests were foreigners. A polite and attentive young man and woman at the front desk checked me in. I was assigned a room on the seventh floor of the main building. The room was spacious enough, and I loved the layout and color scheme. Even though I was staying alone, the bathroom had two sets of toiletries for adults and two for children, which I assume is standard for every room. The mini-bar offered complimentary bottled water and a packet of potato chips. The hotel lobby features transparent pillars with tropical fish, and the garden pool and room decor all have a lovely marine theme. The various panda statues in the hotel garden are absolutely adorable! When I posted about it on social media, I joked that it's a hotel that makes you feel young again after staying there.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. My husband and I stayed in one room, while my parents stayed in another.
The bathroom and shower were very clean and comfortable. The view is definitely better on the higher floors — my parents stayed on the 31st floor and had a lovely view, while our room on the 12th floor didn’t have much of a view, but honestly, we were mostly there just to sleep.
There was bottled water in the room upon arrival, but when we asked for more the next day, we were told to get it from the gym. Also, the cone-shaped paper cups in the gym were not very practical — that could be improved. On the positive side, the hotel has a gym for those interested.
The location is very convenient. We used the tram frequently to explore Hong Kong, and it’s very close to the hotel. There is also a shopping mall nearby, plenty of places to eat, and a supermarket right across the street.
The room overall was nice. There was a slight humidity smell, but that seems to be common in Hong Kong. Keeping the air conditioning on helps a lot.
It would be great if the hotel had universal power outlets.
Greetings from Turkey — Turkish guests would definitely enjoy staying at this hotel.

Not a pleasant stay. The door lock was out of service twice in three days and the reception wasn’t helpful. It took some time to fix…then the receptionist accused me of stealing the key card when the room is not even big enough for hiding a peanut. WiFi merely worked, as slow as it was in 1980s. Soundproofing basically doesn’t exist, talking, bathing, tv, snoring, all types of sound you can imagine go straight into your ears, in the midnight. The only reason to stay here is I’m broke. Hope you‘re not.

I recommend this hotel, not because of its warm service – in fact, I was quite dissatisfied with the front desk staff, who were expressionless throughout and didn't seem friendly or welcoming. However, the hotel offers great value for money and is just a stone's throw from the Zoological and Botanical Gardens, making it incredibly convenient for getting to Central. I was staying in the Kai Tak area of Kowloon and only chose to stay here for one night specifically to visit the gardens, and it was the right choice – the price was affordable and the room size was suitable. However, I do think Hong Kong hotels should learn from their Japanese counterparts; since it's a service industry, a warm and friendly attitude is always necessary. Even if it's just for a few minutes, they should at least pretend! It's no wonder my friends choose to fly directly to Japan for holidays instead of Hong Kong; it truly has a lot to do with the quality and attitude of Hong Kong hotels. Compared to the slippers provided by the hotel and the ones I brought myself, it's as if Hong Kong hotels provide nothing at all... All in all, I would recommend this hotel to friends, and I hope that next time I see the front desk staff, they will combine professionalism with a smile – the two are not mutually exclusive.

I was very satisfied with the room and the service was excellent. They even upgraded my room for free. Everyone says Hong Kong is super expensive, but this place is just amazing. The room facilities were complete, and it was clean and tidy. The room key was made of wood, and when you swiped it to enter, the room was already powered on. There's a fixed power card in the room, so you don't need to insert your room key. The lighting was cozy, the air conditioning was at a comfortable temperature, and the overall environment was superb. Before I went, I read a lot of reviews saying the rooms could be damp, but I didn't find that to be the case at all. Breakfast was Western style, and the overall experience was very good.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location is excellent, and the entrance is very noticeable. It's close to the Wan Chai MTR station, and there are many great restaurants nearby. We arrived a bit early, and the front desk agent, Lina Liu, kindly arranged an early check-in for us since there was a room available. After dropping off our luggage, we were able to go out and explore right away. She also gave each of us a canvas bag; her service was warm and attentive. The room itself was great – clean, tidy, and bright, with disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste provided. As someone with sleep issues, I slept soundly for ten hours. All the front desk staff were very helpful and quick to respond to any requests. There's an outdoor pool and foot bath in the side wing, which was very relaxing for a massage after a day of walking. I didn't take any pictures of the hotel, so the images are of the nearby streetscape. I'll definitely come back again.
YYas_miniThis was my second time staying at the hotel. And I was glad to see the upgraded an refreshed the towels. The hotel itself and room itself is kept well. The bathroom is clean and tidy. Only the half shower door isn’t very practical and all the water still goes out.
The rain shower was broken in my room.
The bedding was clean and comfy. But only two pillows are provided not 4. One of the towels had orange stains on it .
The cleaning could be better as I found the counter tops still stained with glass or can marks . Clearly showing the counter tops were not wiped down. The floor had hair and there was dirt in some corners.
The downside of this room is that it gets a lot of condensed. So on returning the floor would have moisture and condensation on it. It was just so annoying.
Other than that it’s in a super convenient location.
GGuest UserThis hotel definitely exceeded my expectations! For a price over HKD 1,000, I was expecting a tiny room in Hong Kong, but to my surprise, it was a suite. It had a living room with a sofa, coffee table, and dining table, and the bedroom had a super large bed. Plus, all the details in the bathroom were very clean.
The hotel staff were very nice, and their Mandarin was good. Breakfast was semi-buffet style, where you could order one set meal, and all four I tried were delicious. You could even see parrots flying outside the window while having breakfast.
The biggest advantage of this hotel is its convenient location. It's about two bus stops from Admiralty Station (or walkable, really), a 200-meter walk from the Peak Tram Macdonnell Road Station, and within walking distance of Hong Kong Park and Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens. Highly recommend!
WWhere are the JacksWe are a family of four. Stayed for 6 days in their family room. Room size is big for Hong Kong standards at 28 square meters with two double beds. 4500 Pesos per night, great Value for money. Different themed floors and rooms. Greece, Africa, cozi penguins etc. It has a playroom for kids. gym and sauna, also a swimming pool, but it's closed, open during summertime or July. Service is great. Staff are all nice. Spoke to them in english and Mandarin.
MTR and Bus are only in front of the hotel, or about 300 meters. Connected to V CITY MALL, and connected to other malls, tuen men plaza, tuen men park etc. all via connecting Bridge. You can take the 33AX bus going from and to the airport. Only cost 17 HK dollars. Oh we went to a local catholic church for the easter sunday mass. It's in front of V City Mall. MTR takes you everywhere in HK very convenient yet cheap because it's not your usual touristy area like Tsim Sha Tsui.
AAnonymous UserThis hotel is right outside Tsim Sha Tsui, and the environment is pretty good. However, the check-in and check-out times felt a bit cramped – less than 24 hours in total, checking in at 3 PM and checking out at 11 AM. Everything else was okay, but the front desk's attitude towards mainland Chinese tourists left something to be desired.
LLuna Blanca Ysmeralda⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We had a great stay at Venetian Hostel in Tsim Sha Tsui! The location is honestly one of the best things about it — it’s right in the center of everything in TST. There are so many food places just outside the building, so finding something to eat was never a problem.
The MTR is also very convenient, only about a 2-minute walk from TST Station Exit D2, which made commuting around Hong Kong super easy. If you’re coming from the airport by bus, you can simply stop at bus stop #14 (Mirador Mansion), which is very close to the hostel.
Another thing we appreciated was the housekeeping. They collect the trash every day, so when we came back our bins were already clean. They also changed our bedsheets and towels even though we didn’t request it, which was a really nice touch.
Just a small tip: they sometimes offer room upgrades when you arrive, but you can always say NO if you want to stick with your budget.
We stayed on the 13th floor, and that floor has a free water refilling station (which the other floors don’t have), so that was a big plus for us.
The only downside is that the elevator in the building can be very slow, especially during busy hours. But overall, the stay was comfortable, clean, and very convenient. Great option if you’re looking for a budget place in TST!
Bbb1979_2006I booked two adjoining double rooms. Though small, they had everything needed, and the hotel felt quite new and comfortable inside. It's located next to a highway, so there was some noise (rooms facing the small road on the opposite side would probably be quieter). I'd say the air conditioning unit was even louder. For breakfast, they offered one pastry and unlimited coffee refills. There was no bottled water in the room, and toiletries and slippers were not provided. It's about a 10-minute walk to Prince Edward MTR station. The value for money is much better than some of the older hotels.
GGuest UserI chose this place because of the family-friendly cubicle rooms, the shuttle service to Tsuen Wan, and the excellent environment. The hotel also has a small activity area for relaxation. During my stay, the hotel didn't provide free toothbrushes, but towels were available.
Kkwan915It's an older building, but the hygiene is acceptable. There's no elevator, which makes going up and down stairs quite inconvenient. It's also noisy being close to the street. What I found most unacceptable was the severe lack of power outlets; there were none by the bed. It was really inconvenient trying to charge all my devices like camera equipment, phones, smartwatches, and power banks. The biggest plus is its convenient location, less than a 5-minute walk from Wan Chai Station Exit A3, and the A11 airport bus stop is only about five or six minutes away on foot.
RRyonChenThe location is super convenient, with direct subway access. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and efficient, making me feel right at home. While the room wasn't huge, it was clean and comfortable, and the sea view from my room was spectacular. Overall, it's great value for money, perfect for business trips or short getaways. I'd definitely consider staying here again.
