The hotel was a little far from Kyoto Station. However, there are straight buses from the bus station. Hotel is very clean and nice. I will not hesitate to book again next time!

Overall a highly recommended hotel near Okazaki Temple area. Good services from reception, check-in/out. Comfy and clean guest rooms with spacious bathtub and toilets. Highly recommended for all of you who are looking for good quality and reasonably priced hotel in Kyoto.

Very delightful experience. When we arrived, the staff (a short hair lady) showed her professional services and sweet smile. I felt taken care of a lot. She also did a quick room tour for us, which was very considerate. We ordered the suite. Very big and good view with the garden. Extremely clean and smelt good. Every entrance has a security door so it felt really guaranteed. Very friendly to introverts 😂We came for my husband’s bday so I left a msg mentioning about this while booking. They carefully noticed it and printed a card for him. The bday cake we ordered is also amazing. I have to say this hotel is really top quality and top service with top comfort. However if you are looking for more experiences like swimming pool or luxurious view of the old capital, it may not be your best choice. We are here to chill and enjoy the private vibe only!

Not only does they check in efficiently, but they also provide personalized care-from recommending niche attractions to purchasing special products (such as hard-to-find incense sticks), and even remembering guests' preferences (such as plum sparkling wine), making the journey feel warmer. In terms of dining, Japanese cuisine is exquisite and sophisticated, and every dish is full of Kyoto flavor; although the breakfast is a Western set meal, it is also exquisite and delicious, and the free drinks in the afternoon add to the comfort. Very good experience, clean, quiet, breakfast is a little simple, the location is not central, but the 203 at the door can go everywhere, and it is convenient to take a taxi. There is a 24-hour supermarket opposite, and Okazaki Shrine is next to it. The mini bar is free, and there is osaji for bathing. I will stay here next time

Very, very good hotel, very private, with a small but well-built garden, a Japanese-style courtyard, and the distance to the flower street, Kiyomizu Temple, and Kamogawa is just right, not too noisy and not too far away. The room is large and equipped with complete facilities. The bathroom in our king-size room is particularly good, with a separate shower and bathtub. The entire washroom is separated into dry and wet areas, which is very comfortable. The bathroom design of the twin room is a bit wasteful. The shower is in the bathtub, which can actually be made into a dry and wet separation, and the bathtub and shower are separated. However, the flaws do not outweigh the merits. Overall, I am very satisfied with the hotel accommodation experience in Japan, and I will probably stay there again next time. PS: Some washbasins in Japan are really low

The hotel is very quiet, and there are many temples around, which is suitable for relaxation. It happened to be my birthday, and the hotel also gave me a small gift. The drinks in the room refrigerator are free. The hotel breakfast is very simple, Western set meals, there is no buffet, and people with big appetites should not be full. The hotel also has a free drink time from 3pm to 6pm. It happened to rain heavily on the day of check-out. When waiting for the departure time, I could only pay for a cup of tea because the free time had not arrived. It's a bit regrettable that although I stayed for two days, I didn't enjoy the free lounge service. I can only say that this free lounge time period is not suitable for tourists.

The hotel is very close to popular attractions such as Nanzenji Temple and Eikan-do Temple, and it is also convenient to go to the art museum. The room is very big and the bed is very big. The south side is close to the road and there is a little noise. I usually wear earplugs to sleep and it doesn't affect it. If you are sensitive to sound, I suggest you choose a room facing the garden. The Chinese service staff, Mr. Zhang, is very warm and friendly. There are not many rooms in the hotel, so there are not many tourists. It is also very comfortable during the May Day peak season.
