Great Location & Spacious Room, but Cleaning Policy Could Be Improved The hotel is in a great location with easy access to the train station, plenty of eateries, and lots of different convenience stores around. The room size is quite spacious by Japan standards, which comes with Microwave and washing machine and dryer in the room, which made the stay comfortable. However, the housekeeping policy could be improved. Full room cleaning is only provided after a 6-night stay, which seems a bit too long. During my 5-night stay, only towels were changed and bins cleared as per my request. It would have felt cleaner with more regular housekeeping.

What can I say, the location is great, everything could be said great except what you see in the photos.

The room is compact, as expected for a typical Japanese hotel, but it’s well-equipped with thoughtful features like a washing machine, microwave, and bathtub. Essentials such as a hairdryer, electric kettle, air purifier/humidifier, air-conditioning, and basic toiletries are all provided. In the lobby, you can help yourself to additional amenities like combs, toothbrushes, razors, cotton buds, and body sponges. Housekeeping changes towels and clears trash daily, provided you place the designated magnet outside your door. Complimentary coffee, tea, and water are available at the lobby’s self-service corner. From 3–8 PM, there’s a free snack bar and a sake corner. At check-in, we received 12 coin tokens (for three people over five nights), which can be exchanged for sake—non-alcoholic options are available too. The only downside is a slightly damp, musty smell in the room. Location-wise, it’s excellent—just a short walk from the train station and close to convenience stores. Note that there’s no complimentary breakfast buffet

Rooms are small but equipped with all important things like kettle, washing machine and trousers press. Location wise I wouldn’t say is the best as there’s nothing much around the area but is about a 3 minutes walk to the station. Service is good as they helped us with our luggage delivery so it was fuss free. The downside is the lack of house cleaning because they only change towels and empty dustbin. Also, we bought the room with “window”, it was literally a small flossed glass with nothing to see and barely provided any natural light.

Convenient, clean and spacious room within an affordable budget. Toilet fully furnished with heater shower and toilet bowl seat heater. Basic Amenities/necessities such as shaver, tooth brush and shower/body soap provided.

Hotel is located near the subway and bus stop. Thus, making travel to places of interest easy. There’s also shopping and food within walking distance from the hotel. Breakfast is not bad considering the price point. Slight variations for breakfast are made daily too.

The hotel is close to Karasuma-oike station. However, if you have a luggage, it is easier to exit by elevator from Exit 5 and cross the road to the hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Space is decent for a family of 3. We also liked that they have a common place at the lobby where we can eat or snack. They also offer coffee, water and other amenities (toothbrush, cotton buds, face wash etc) too.

Very good location. Subway is just a block away with 3 convenience stores, a Mcdonalds and a starbucks nearby. Around 10mins walk to Nishiki market and Daimaru Department store.

Room is spacious and clean, but they only allow limited room keeping if you stay 6 nights or less where they only change towels and clear the bins. No bed making, no sweeping or cleaning the toilets.

Horrible experience at the hotel. besides the bed and frequently used areas, I can see dust on the walls and corners of the room. The 6 nights no cleaning policy is horrible. The only benefit you get is the washing machine. Bathroom has the old mouldy smell. They assigned my room to another person because I checked in late and I got a shocked when I opened the door that there were belongings inside. The staff were running to me to change the keycard. As it was cold there’s only heat function, I had to open the window for cold air. Price is reasonable for such standards but I wouldn’t recommend if you can’t stand too much dust left over by the past tenants.
