Accommodation is quite affordable and location is somewhat decent with a bus stop nearby with a direct bus to kyoto station. be mindful you will be sharing toilet and shower.

I stayed there for six days on November 1. The boss and the landlady were very nice. Just outside the alley is the Nishioji Shichijo bus stop. It takes about ten minutes to reach Kyoto Station after a few stops. The transportation is relatively convenient and the price/performance ratio is very high.
