It is customary to talk about the shortcomings first It's a certain distance from Kyoto Station. Unless you have to take the Toei Subway, transportation is not inconvenient but it's not too convenient either. There is no daily cleaning service. Towels can be changed if you stay for two days, and cleaning can be done after three days. You have to tell the service staff before they come. There is no dresser. But the room is not small. I stayed in a room with a kitchen. There was a small cooking area and a lot of kitchen utensils. There was also an oven, a microwave, and more kitchen utensils on the first floor. There is unlimited use of drinks and snack bars every day, including alcohol and soft drinks, as well as one ice cream every day, which is quite delicious. There is also a vinyl record player in the room, which is very trendy, although I broke it and didn't use it. Overall it's great, it's nice to stay once and check it out, but I won't come back for a second time

Stayed for four nights whilst visiting Kyoto. Enjoyed the style of the hotel which is modern and fun. The breakfast is nice but it’s literally a choice of a bagel or waffle and then you can choose fruit/salad to go with it - it’s not a buffet - you get to top up your plate once. Staff are nice and you get a free ice cream each everyday, with free drinks in the evening which gives the hotel a nice sociable vibe. Great location - 2 mins flat walk to the tube and 10 mins flat walk down one road to Kyoto main station. Overall a great stay.

Amazing hotel, really modern and clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble. Record player in the room. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again. Short walk from the station and laundry facilities was really handy.

Fantastic place. Great helpful staff. Rooms were a good size with a good bathroom. Record player for some cool vibes. Kettle, fridge , tea bags were a helpful addition. Location was perfect for peace and quiet. Breakfast was healthy. It was nice to have a daily complimentary drink and ice cream
