One of the nicest hotel with a lovely Japan and Kyoto like interiors in Kyoto for the price in the area. Room and bathroom is spacious and a large bath tub with tv is good plus point if you enjoy taking a bath. The front staffs are not the best and friendly ones but provide service you need. Our family stayed for 2 nights, one room in the 3rd floor and the other in the ground floor. The ground floor room has really bad moldy and cigarette smell, my husband and I notified hotel and asked if they gave us a smoking room by mistake. They said they will do something with it and when we back to the room at night we saw they kept opening the window but it was still smelly and disgusting. It was very unpleasant.

Wonderful all around, especially if you get lucky with snow. On the quiet side of the river for 8 nights. Obviously had the river view. Corner room on 4th floor is the best. Housecleaning is a bit too loud though. Super close to train station. Kyoto is worth the visit no matter what. We’ll be returning. Thank you

The hotel is very quiet, in Shirakawa next to the Kamogawa River, with convenient dining options and convenience stores nearby, and a few minutes' walk from the Hankyu Line station

The room is relatively large and the transportation is quite convenient. The vibration of the subway downstairs is too obvious. If you pay attention to it, you will feel very uncomfortable. The attitude of the front desk customer service is not good. For a room rate of more than 2,000 yuan, the service level of three stars is really not good.

I have been to Kyoto four times and this is the best accommodation experience. The room is very big and right next to the Kamogawa River. The location is excellent and it is very convenient to go to shopping malls and attractions. Highly recommended. The room is spacious and bright.

The room is big, but the mattress is the most collapsed I have ever slept on in Japan. My whole body sank into it, which is very unfriendly to the spine. I was exhausted from sleeping.

I have been to Japan many times before, and the hotels I booked for hundreds to thousands of yuan were better than this hotel. First of all, we arrived at the hotel in the morning on the day of check-in, but we were given a room on the first floor next to the front desk. I said that I had trouble sleeping and hoped to change to a quiet room upstairs. The front desk clerk asked the leader and told me that there was only one room left, and I had to pay the difference of 1,000 yuan per night. It's really a rip-off! Secondly, I was glad that I didn't pay the difference, because the hotel has a subway underground, and the noise is very loud. If I paid the difference and moved to the upper floors, I would inevitably be troubled by the noise. Fortunately, I brought earplugs, but I could still hear the sound of the subway passing by. I didn't expect that the hotel had such poor sound insulation. It's like sleeping next to the railway tracks and charging 2,000 yuan. It's speechless.

The food was OK and was delivered to the room. The Kamo River was not as close as I thought, I thought it was next to it.

Walk out of the hotel and turn the corner to the famous cherry blossom street. In the morning, take photos as much as you want before the crowds arrive. The facilities are very smart and quiet, the service is very friendly, and breakfast is delivered directly to the room.

The breakfast was reserved for one day, and the taste was mediocre. If you eat it every day, you will definitely get tired of it 4. The overall service is very online, and they will help answer questions and help make restaurant reservations in Japanese, but some front desk receptionists are not very enthusiastic

Pleasantly surprised, clean and elegant, spacious room, convenient transportation, quiet in a busy city, beautiful surroundings, close to attractions, I like it very much.
