I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is absolutely perfect — right in the heart of Kyoto city. It’s just a short walk to both the train and bus stations, which made getting around super convenient. Plus, it’s very close to major shopping malls Takashimaya where you can buy Marukyu koyamaen matcha. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. They also have a washing machine and dryer available, which is really convenient for longer stays. However, there’s only one of each, so if it gets busy, you might need to wait your turn. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kyoto! They also has nearby Izakaya that the owner was so kind and foreigner friendly welcome.

The hotel is located on the main road, which has access to many attractions in Kyoto.We have been enjoying our trip. I will recommend it to my friends and families.

Cosy hotel in the centre of Kyoto. Very well located for getting to all of the tourist sites. Great access to public transport and lots of good restaurants around too.

Very good location, I really like the option to let my suitcases there before check in. Tatami "beds" were very comfortable.

A little on the small side, but super convenient – it’s right next to Takashimaya department store. The area is quiet, and for the location, the price is really reasonable. Great spot if you’re looking for something central and fuss-free!

Super friendly and extremely-helpful staffs. Only thing was that once entering the room, there was a bit of wierd smell left, which I believe was simillar to the smell of sweat that couldnt be removed. I tried to remove that smell spraying the air freshener in the room, but did not work properly.

We were astonished by how close the hotel towards the Kawaramachi, Gion and subway areas, making it super convenient to visit all foodie and sight seeing places. It looks very clean, the staff are super friendly and came all the way to assist us sending back our shopping to Tokyo. If you would make Kyoto your base to see the neighbourhood like Nara, Uji etc, highly recommended this hotel location

The best part of this hotel is its location, it sits about a few hundred metres from Shijo shopping street, Gion district, and Hankyu-Kyoto metro line but not too close so it's not too busy. The room size is small (typical for Japanese hotel) but it's clean. Staff can speak basic English. Service is good. You can borrow universal adaptor too.

The hotel was located nearby Nishiki Market, and Gion by walking distance. It was very convenient because there are two train stations nearby. The room size was small, so guests might need to adjust their luggage tidily. In summary, it was a good choice of hotel!

Excellent location near Hankyu and Keihan metro lines and plenty of bus lines to attractions in Kyoto. Also nearby shopping and Pontocho Alley restaurants. Tatami floor and sleeping on firm fold up mattresses were comfortable and a novelty.
