Lavande Hotel (Kunming Xishan Wanda Plaza Railway Station) Reviews

Not the best nor the worst of the location in kunming. Lot of choice on food just across the road from the hotel. Experienced power trip during one of the nights while I was showering.... Lasted 10mins before power resumed. Heard from hotel staff this is quite a common occurrence. Laundry room on top floor. Short walk probably 5mins to nearby shopping malls with more dining options.

I actually love my stay in this hotel. They have a very nice lavender scented theme going on (I think they sell them too, the air freshener, the bath and shampoo set, etc.). Good amenities and not as noisy as other hotels. But location wise, I think not too convenient as I was hoping I could just walk around and find a shopping mall but they only got like local shops around the hotel so you might need to take a taxi (DiDi) to the big malla. For muslims going here, you guys might be interested to find that there's a halal restaurant right across the street. So you don't have to find other restaurants from google map which you don't even know are still operating or not. But be ready as the servers and owner cannot speak English at all.

It is close to the city center, especially the railway station is only a 10-minute drive away. The air purifier in the room is easy to use, the equipment and facilities are very new, and the audio system in the room is also easy to use. I highly recommend it!

The lady at the front desk was very attentive. Seeing that I brought a child, she gave me a children's toothbrush and a small gift when I left. It was super awesome! The room was relatively clean and tidy overall. Although it was facing the street, the soundproofing was very good and did not affect my sleep at night. It was worth more than 200 yuan. I will definitely choose this place next time I come!
