l The Crystal Orange Hotel is an excellent choice, especially for Muslim travelers. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Kunming, with the Halal Street just behind the hotel. This made finding delicious food incredibly convenient, and Kunming truly felt like a food paradise for us. The hotel is surrounded by malls and shopping areas, so everything you need is within walking distance. We didn’t even have to use Didi during our stay—it’s that convenient. As for the hotel itself, it’s clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The highlight for us was definitely the location. It made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable. This will absolutely be our go-to hotel whenever we return to Kunming. Highly recommended!

Stayed for one night due to the very convenient location in downtown and close proximity to the railway station. The receptionist was friendly and welcoming. She introduced the hotel and breakfast time and escorted us to the elevators. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Had a quick breakfast next day before heading to the railway station. Sufficient food selection for breakfast. Overall good stay! :)

The hotel is located in centrally located and close with the shopping area (Nan Ping, Kunming Old Street, and Nan Qiang). Free bathbomb every day if you book the room with bathtub. Your room might be noisy in the morning if your room is facing the school. Come during autumn season in early January, temperature is abit cold but the AC in the room is not able to work. Overall still positive experience

Great location to the Nanping pedestrian street, old street and shopping area whereby we could go back to the hotel to drop off the shopping before continuing with more shopping! However our room had an unpleasant smell which could not be resolved. Our friend staying in the other room was fine though.

Hotel is conveniently located beside 五一 station. There’s many malls and food options around. Reception staffs are very helpful & friendly! Enjoyed our stay here.

We really like this hotel, excellent hotel & excellent staffs. the staffs were really helpful, and very nice. They gave free upgrades to our room. They allowed us to keep our luggages after check out because our flight is at night and rewarded us with late check out. The location is very convenient located downtown near shopping malls & lots of halal restaurants for muslim. The metro station is just outside the hotel. The room itself was really clean and well-maintained. Definitely will stay here again in future. I’ve already recommended this hotel to my friend on my Instagram!

Excellent hotel with excellent service and at reasonable price. Very conveniently located downtown near shopping malls and eating outlets. The Wuyi Road 五一路 metro exit A is just outside the hotel. The staff are very courteous and attentive. Would stay here again when I next visit Kunming. The only negative is that taxis cannot stop directly in front of the hotel entrance but about 50-100 metres away.

The strategic location of the hotel is a plus point. Right behind the hotel is Shuncheng mosque. Plenty of muslim restaurant and pastries shops available. And 10 mins walk to Kunming old city

Conveniently located by Wuyi Road Station. Takes about 45 mins from airport with one transfer line. Has halal eateries just behind the hotel. Shopping areas are nearby walking distance. For Muslim travelers can walk over the mosque area for an array of food choices. The room is decently sized. Basic amenities present. They have a list of convenience items that you can request from reception. If you order in food To be delivered, a robot will send to your room. Staff are helpful and friendly.

Very good location. Just above the wuyi road station, so many shops and eateries nearby. Room is clean and spacious

The front counter reception FuRong is very friendly. Added us to wechat if we have any problem or questions. We got a nice upgraded room with a bathtub in the room. Only suitable for couple. The breakfast is good. Got cereal, pastries and local Chinese food. The only issue with the room was the aircon wasn't working properly. It was warm during the night and we have open the window to cool down. Not sure if this is due to winter time that the aircon was turned on.

Some rooms have smoke smell, but the staff will do their best to remove it. Location is great, right next to the train station.

I am a returned guest of the hotel. When I know i had to returned to Kunming, only this hotel comes to my mind. Location is definitely why you choose this hotel. Their service level is excellent as well. Everybody from the front desk to the housekeeping ladies, will greet you with a warm smile. Totally recommend this hotel, if you are traveling to this part of the world.
