The view (when you buy a castle view room) is great. The service in English is good.

Delicious breakfast buffet. HOWEVER, I don't know why I need to pay CARPARK FEE for staying in the hotel? Should it be FREE as a service for hotel guests.

I had a pleasant stay at KKR Hotel Kumamoto. The room was quite spacious and very clean. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Kumamoto Castle. From the hotel restaurant, you can enjoy a distant view of the back of the castle, which was still quite nice during breakfast. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and would recommend it to others.

Cool location can see nice castle view from room window. However to visit the castle you will need to walk about 10 to 15min from the hotel to gate to buy tickets. Luckily weather is nice and cool during our period of visit. Overall good experience. Parking at hotel also very convenient too.

The location of the hotel is super close to the Castle but requires some walking if you are heading to the main shopping streets. The view was great and I enjoyed breakfast with the view. Receptionists were helpful and friendly. Parking was available with 1000yen. However, the room is highly non-soundproof, as I can hear a guy snoring next door the whole night as well as hear them opening the door and talking, which had caused me a really bad night sleep.

It is very good for family trip. Location is perfect. It is very nearby Kumamoto Castle. You can do hiking and visiting Kumamoto Castle. Traffic is Good and convenient. Have bus, taxi. You can see the Kumamoto Castle directly from your room.

The view from the location is really good, and the window faces the Kumamoto Castle Tower. The room is not small, and a 28-inch large suitcase can be spread out. The room facilities, especially the bathroom, are a bit old, but it is no problem for domestic three-star hotels. The breakfast list costs 2,000 (1,800 for reservation one day in advance), which is Japanese style and may not suit the appetite of all Chinese people. There is Chinese service at the front desk. There are two places that are not up to expectations: First, there are limited buses at the door. You can go out according to the schedule, but there may not be a suitable bus back to the hotel; at more than 10 o'clock on the first night, I got off the tram and dragged the suitcase and walked uphill for more than 10 minutes. Second, Kumamoto Castle is still under renovation. The hotel is facing the north gate, but the north gate is only open on weekends and holidays. On weekdays, you can go through the south gate, which is several hundred meters farther than the tram station.

It is very close to Kumamoto Castle and far from the downtown area. Fortunately, the hotel provides simple meals for purchase on the fifth floor. It is very quiet and suitable for people who like quietness. The facilities are a bit old, but well maintained.

The view from the room was very beautiful, and the location was good so I could walk around. The breakfast was also very delicious and the staff were very considerate so I was able to eat comfortably! I would like to stay here again.

The staff were kind and even guided us to the parking lot. The location was great as Kumamoto Castle was nearby and the shopping district was just a short walk away. We were able to eat breakfast while looking at Kumamoto Castle.
