Stayed 2 nights. Great location for checking out ao nang, literally a minute from main area, but still very quiet. Luggage storage room to leave bags before or after checkin/ checkout. Pool lovely. Room spacious , nice views from balcony, bed comfortable. Fridge safe tea coffee and water in room. Staff helpful and friendly. Bathtoom clean but shower/ bath area a bit grimy. Difficult to get under shower rose to have a shower, if turn tap on too quick, the shower rose jumps out of socket and sprays the entire bathroom. Expected better for the price paid. Tip: ask for room with a view as there’s some rooms with no view at all.

A little bit of walking to Aonang beach but not too far. Near to Nopparat Thara Pier which transport to island tour. The pool was a huge plus which should not be missed. Room was spacious with balcony, partial sea view with trees blocking sun to room. No toothbrush and towels may not be changed daily. Staff were friendly and helpful.

No extra pax. You have to pay for extra person. Basic amenities. Strategic location but not by the sea. No sea view as well.

Lovely hotel, handily located on the port side of the town. Good breakfast too although coffee extremely strong for the 5 days we were here. Staff were lovely. I’ll stay here all the time I come to Aonang now

They don’t have a lift or elevator. Be ready to carry your bags or luggage for a short time while going to your room. The staff are helpful. the hotel is nice. Clean and the location is great. The shampoo and bath soap they give is very limited.

The room is clean, very cost-effective, next to the night market. The buffet breakfast is average, and the transportation is convenient.

The room is very old, and the bed is not designed properly. On one side is a double bed, separated by a wooden board in the middle, and on the other side it seems that you can sit on it while wet, which is about the same size as a single bed. When the faucet is turned on, water will splash on you. The pillow is too high and it is uncomfortable to sleep. Is it more convenient to walk to nearby places?

It's good value for money and close to the beach. It takes about 10 minutes to get to the Railay longtail boat reservation office on the left side of the main road and about 10 minutes to walk to the night market on the right side. The facilities are old and the breakfast is not worth the price. The swimming pool view is good. Considering the value for money, it's about 80 out of 100. ..

The hotel is big. It seems there are 5 buildings with 3 floors each. Breakfast is monotonous. Cleaning is done only upon request, even if you put up a "clean up" sign. The pool is nice and big.

My brother and I stayed at Aonang Bay Resort for just one night on Dec. 31, and while some parts of the experience were fine, it didn’t quite live up to expectations. We had asked for a quiet room on a high floor when booking through Agoda months ago, but were initially given a room near a busy road. Thankfully, the staff were understanding and moved us to a quieter spot, which we really appreciated. The new room, however, wasn’t what we expected—it was a family room with a queen bed and a single bed instead of the twin room we had booked. The space felt a little dark, especially in the bathroom where the lighting wasn’t great. On the plus side, everything worked as it should, so no complaints there. That said, at 13,000 yen for the night, the overall experience felt overpriced. Breakfast was included, but it was a letdown. The fried eggs and omelets were pre-made and served cold because they didn’t use a warmer—something small but frustrating. While the staff’s helpfulness stood out, the price and the quality of breakfast made it hard to feel like we got good value for money. With a few tweaks, this place could be much better for travelers.

Where to begin? -The reception: unfriendly and unhelpful. A bitter face will greet you when you arrive and through out the day. The exception is the evening/night person. She was lovely. In essence, she This hotel is where the ‘Thai Smile’ went to Die. ***Please be aware that this hotel has NO elevators and if you have suitcases… you MUST be prepared to carry them up & down the stairs to your room, yourselves. -The rooms: if you like yellowish, dirty walls and virtually NO lighting in the room…well you are in luck! Dark and dingy, you will not want to unpack, as no matter what you choose to wear, you won’t be able to see it. The bed is semi-comfortable, but bundle up as the Jet stream of the air conditioning lands straight ON YOU, while you try to sleep. The furniture in the room was rustic and Bali-ish when it was new in 1979. Oh, if you need the safe to place your passport and valuables…you may have trouble finding it! It is hidden in the closet, where you have to bend down under the lower shelf to find it. That is fine except to use it, you will need a flashlight to try to find a red button hidden under and behind it (don’t even try the instruction) to reset a weirdly wired safe. Don’t despair. It’s not you! I promise you it’s the safe. Expect the room and bathroom to NOT be ‘cleaned’ when you asked them to do so. They will make up your bed. Period. -The Bathroom: Old and dilapidated, this bathroom has been ‘patched up to the max’ and is in urgent need of a renovation. From the tall bathtub /shower where you need to climb up slippery tile steps to get into the old dingy tub which does not drain well and the hand held shower sprays everywhere when in its holder…. With the tiles broken and cemented as a band aid. Never have I been to a hotel where they don’t even offer HAND soap in the bathroom. -Breakfast / dining if you are about to choose the ‘Breakfast Included’ option: DONT! You will do much better at the 7Eleven down the street; there at least they offer real coffee. If you do choose the breakfast option, try not to go first thing in the morning- even if you have a tour booked- as they first serve all the left overs from the previous day’s breakfast. Yes.aside that, expect nothing tasty to eat, unless you enjoy gray colour scrambled eggs. That is because they are still cooking with last year’s used cooking oil. In a four week trip through Thailand, this was the only hotel where they offered very little fruit. The same watermelon and pineapple left overs, every single day. On our last day, they even ran out of fruit! The staff at breakfast, especially the woman running it, will start your day with a sour faced bitter look. Don’t bother asking for anything with a smile. It’s won’t be returned. -The Pool: What can I say about a beach ‘Resort’ hotel that does not open its pool until 11 am (!) ? This is strictly enforced and they don’t even let people sit on the pool area chairs until then! We witnessed hotel guests
