Booking from Trip. Very easy to apply . I like so much deluxe room my family stay.city view +sea view . Tq so much. I will come again .the room very clean and pressure water is very satisfied. But please make sure service from desk about breakfast .btw tq buffet breakfast totally nyummy

Love the hotel. Great location. So many cheap foods around the hotel. Nearby and walking distance with popular mall.

Very good location very convenient. Overall it's an old hotel, outdated facility, poor noise insulation, come to kk for marathon and stay 3 nights, can't sleep well every night due to all kinds of noise and AC not cold enough. Shower water temperature is very hard to control. Provided breakfast is so cheap, I eat only once and rather eat outside, don't pay extra money for the breakfast if you can.

Had a fantastic stay at Horizon Hotel Kota Kinabalu! The location is perfect—right in the city center with easy access to attractions and local eateries. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making the experience even better. Plus, the breakfast selection was delicious! Highly recommend for a comfortable and convenient stay.

Good location near Gaya street walk 15mins to water front. I stay in 6/F Grand Deluxe room it's have a big terrace! But whole hotel is no smoking even in outside terrace. I need to feedback the basin and bathtub is out of bathroom! It's very not convenient for me. May be long time no guest to use the bathtub when I check in found it's very dirty and blockage water, bathtub tap is very very slow water pressure, can't enjoy the bathtub all of my 4night stay. I'll not book this room in my future trip .

Overall ok n strategic location in town. Can walk to night market on saturday and morning market on sunday.

Really bad staff - they spoke really bad English and they weren’t helpful at all . The door of the restaurant says open until 11pm , I arrived before 9.30pm , reed the menu and then when I was about to order they said the restaurant closes at 10pm and they don’t serve after 9.30pm. I’ve checked the watch and it was 9.32pm - and all they said was “sorry sir” with a smirk on their faces Next day I asked I went to the concierge for some tips regarding the tour to see the Proboscis monkeys and he couldn’t explain anything at all. Also asked for some recommendations regarding where I could have a good steak he couldn’t also advise a restaurant. Finally i put the car in the reception. No one explained how the system worked. I had to wait for someone that spoke proper English to come and explain. If I was in a 2 star lodge in the middle of nowhere I could understand such a bad staff but this was in a 4 star hotel in the capital of Sabah

Its a good stay. Front desk are helpful and gave a clear instructions on what we need. The minus point: even you’re a guest in the hotel, you still need to pay for the parking. You’re required to pay rm100 for security deposit. The bathroom is clean but there is a visible mold as well. Breakfast is ok.

Everything is v good. Staff is friendly. But the air con in the room is v loud. Like a car engine.

Booked this hotel for Marathon event at PADANG BANDARAN DBKK Kota Kinabalu. This hotel only a stone throw away from the event that I enrolled. Oposite is famous and popular GAYA STREET. Hotel are clean and I love the Reception and Restaurant staffs. Friendly and are excellent. They have breakfast which is adequate to fill your hungry stomach. The BREAKFAST NEED IMPROVEMENT. Lacking the choices of FRUITS and Bread Rolls. They do have cakes but providing a few extra bread rolls and fruits won't harm the restaurant budget. HOWEVER THIS HOTEL I FULLY RECOMMENDED to everyone or and travellers. This hotel toilet is also MUSLIM FRIENDLY. THE WATER SPRAY Pressure ARE STRONG. NICE. ****FRIENDLY REMINDER, this hotel charge for Parking Fees which is RM5 only during my one night stay with family.
