The location is good with a big car park. Although the staff cannot speak fluent English, they tried to explain all the details during check in. There are not many restaurants nearby but you can find 1-2 24 hours fast food restaurants beside the hotel. Not really a lake view as mentioned by the hotel description though. Not far away from the lake and the lake is big and beautiful.

Even though it's a resort area on the shores of Lake Hamana... I'm used to staying at Route Inn chains and know the general quality of the hotels. There aren't many convenience stores or restaurants within walking distance, so it's better to eat beforehand or do your shopping at a supermarket or convenience store. If it's too much of a bother, you can go to the izakaya next door. (I guess they opened the izakaya chain because there's nothing nearby.) It seems a little old, probably because it's been a while since the building was built, but it's well-kept and clean. Lastly, it's right in front of the police station, so be careful not to get into any traffic violations.
