The general experience was great, beautiful facilities, great service, but this hotel is more for families with older children because they don’t have a children playroom. Other than that, overall we had an excellent time there though.

Absolutely loved it, the most beautiful bar ever. The service is the best especially WhatsApp communication channel. Some facilities do seem a bit outdated and the variety of breakfast items is somewhat limited.

The best staff! The facilities are a bit worn out and need some repairs, but it's basically a great resort. In particular, the beach environment is great and the color of the sea is so pretty that I was happy just lying on the sunbed all day. The staff always greeted me brightly and I felt like the teamwork was really good. The staff also felt hip. The attentive and experienced staff who remembered and called the kids by their names every time they met them were 5 out of 5! Thanks to that, it was a really enjoyable experience. The basic snack bar was a bit disappointing because it was very poor, but the kids were happy the whole time thanks to the sweet spot where they provided free ice cream and drinks. It's a shame that the room type I needed on the date I wanted was sold out, so I could only stay for one day. I will definitely visit again next time I go to Koh Samui.

It is much better to come here during the Spring Festival than Sanya, with fewer people and cleaner environment. It is more than 10 minutes by taxi from the fishing village night market and the Internet celebrity cocotams, and there are many choices for dining and drinking!

But this time I want to talk seriously about the sanitation of the guest room swimming pool of W Hotel in Koh Samui. I advise those who value the sanitation of the swimming pool and need to swim in the water to avoid it. (Those who don't care about the swimming pool can skip this article). This time I took my baby to travel, and I chose the hotel mainly because the W hotel's guest room has a larger swimming pool than other hotels. The temperature was just right at noon on the second day of check-in. I took my baby to swim. I first saw two dead insects floating in the middle of the swimming pool and picked them up manually. After a careful inspection, I found that the corners of the swimming pool were densely covered with small black insects (hundreds of them were visually estimated). I was extremely disgusted when I saw this moment. Imagine if I swam in it, I would eat insects). Therefore, I immediately contacted the hotel to clean the swimming pool. When I returned to the room in the afternoon, there were still many small black insects. I asked the hotel to clean it for the second time. This time I saw with my own eyes that the hotel's so-called cleaning was to use a small cloth bag to pick up the insects. (I originally thought that the pool would be drained, thoroughly cleaned, and then refilled with water. I overestimated it). After the cleaning staff left, I went to see again, and there were still some small black bugs. I can only say that a large area of ​​black bugs were removed, but not completely. At this time, I called the hotel through Ctrip and asked the hotel to solve the problem of not being able to swim in the guest room pool. The hotel finally said as follows: 1 The hotel also felt very sorry for this situation and cleaned it twice, but because the weather was cloudy and windy, and we booked a forest room, there were so many small bugs. 2 The hotel informed the outdoor swimming pool that they had no way to control insects, and the only assistance they could provide was to clean the swimming pool. As long as the guests needed it, they could provide cleaning services at any time. 3 The compensation provided by the hotel was three coconuts and a dessert, as well as a standard apology letter printed in Chinese. Summary: My request from the beginning was to be able to swim in the room. The hotel could either help to completely change the water and clean it, or change the room, which could solve my problem, but the hotel's attitude was very strong, and it looked indifferent. They just fished it out twice and perfunctorily. Follow-up: On the morning of the day I left, I looked at the guest room swimming pool again, and there were still many small bugs floating. This shows that the water quality of this swimming pool is very unclean. I am very glad that I did not let my children go into the water. I went into the water for about five minutes (without knowing it on the first day), and then I got some rashes on my body for a few days. It is probably caused by the unhygienic water quality. I guess the guest room swimming pool of this hotel is probably not changed all year round? Or is there a subtle rot on the wooden board next to it that hides small insects, or is it easy for the trees next to the guest room to breed small insects? In short, I sincerely hope that the hotel can take the swimming pool hygiene issue seriously, put it on the agenda to strengthen management, find out the root cause and thoroughly deal with it. Every time I perfunctorily use a cloth bag to salvage, it is only a temporary solution. I hope that tourists who travel to W Hotel in the future will be sure to check whether there are small insects floating on the corners and edges of the swimming pool before going into the water.
