Captain Hook is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for peace and quiet. The villas are nice, we stayed in a room with its own mini pool. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel can help you arrange boat rides, scooters to rent, ferry tickets, etc. Some amenities the resort offers are massages, fire shows, snorkeling, kayaking, and skiing. You should know that there is no beach in front of the resort, but it’s a quick swim/canoe to the beach across from the resort. The restaurant and bar sits right on the water and offers various western and eastern options. We would definitely recommend the fried chicken wings! It was a great holiday and we would choose this resort again when we travel to Koh Kood in the future.

No fridge to put water in room very expensive for what it is no tv. After hotel in koh mak wich was like a palace beautiful and lot cheaper, I affraid captain Cook was a let Down to the holiday

Highly recommend for everyone!!! Stunning scenery, Amazing sea view and white sand beach. The resort have many activities to do. And special show at night. The service is extremely superb goooooooood!!!! All staffs very helpful. And the resort also provided all day free coconut ice cream, drink,coffee bar and toast all you can eat. Breakfast is delicious. Nothing to complain about. Impressive 👍🏻👍🏻

Probably the best you can get. You can pay more. But why. You are enthralled with nature. The best part is kayaking down the ocean for free. Amazing stay!

It is a very relaxing place. It is recommended to stay for 2-3 days. We went there for too many days this time. The menu was the same for three meals a day, which was a bit greasy. To get to the island, you need to take a boat and rent a scooter. It is not convenient for us two adults and three children.

Every time I come to Koh Kood, I stay at only the Captain Hook resorts. This time I brought my elders with me. I couldn't book in time, so there was only Captain Hook, a pool suit room left. I usually come on weekdays, but this time I came during the New Year period. The weather was great, the sea was clear, and diving around the resort was the end. There were a lot of fish, medium, and large. The accommodation is suitable for those who like peace and quiet. There is no beach in front of the resort, but you have to kayak across, less than 50 meters.

It is a very suitable place for relaxation. Quiet, peaceful, not crowded, but not lonely. Being with nature and playing in the water in front of the accommodation is already happy. There are various activities for customers to relax, such as boating, diving, fishing, squid fishing. The staff of the accommodation takes very good care of customers. ♥️ I recommend it as a good place to relax. There are snacks and ice cream to eat all the time during the day.

Good atmosphere, quiet, the manager spoke well and provided good service. I was impressed. I came for the 2nd time and still like Captain Hook as before.

Attention: To get to the hotel you have to be taken by boat!!! A great idea in itself as you can have a very quiet holiday, but it is very complicated if you want to go "into town". You can rent scooters through the resort, but they are much more expensive than the rest of the island. We paid a lot of money per night and the breakfast was very reasonable... we've had much better in Thailand for that price. Pai, who greeted us, is a really kind soul of a person, very warm and accommodating! Despite that, we wouldn't book again.

The hotel has a good atmosphere, the receptionist is good and has good human relations. Delicious food, beautiful view rooms, but the mattress is a little hard, should have a topper, there is a free kayak service, very good. The mini pool room has an open bathroom with geckos, which are afraid of reptiles.

Interesting location, they take you to the hotel by boat. Surrounded by mangrove forests. There is no full-fledged beach near the hotel, plus you need to focus on the ebb and flow of the tides. Next door is a beach with a popular Instagram location - a palm tree in the water; you can only get there by kayak or boat. There is a picturesque coral reef nearby; for a nominal fee, the hotel will organize a boat transfer there to snorkel with an instructor. It’s definitely worth visiting the mini island next to the reef, where there is nothing but a cafe on the shore with local flavor - freshly caught fish, which will be immediately caught and fried, sea urchins, fashionable restaurants will wait - because chilling in such a place is a separate kind of pleasure and new impressions in the piggy bank are guaranteed. In the hotel restaurant, the kitchen cooks quickly, but the waiters are outrageously slow. And when ordering an omelet WITHOUT onions for breakfast, get ready to receive an omelet ONLY made from onions😂😂 that’s too salty) The humidity in such a place must be understood as high as possible; the bed is always damp. The bathroom is a let down, in the basement, a simple washbasin and a shower stick, no cosmetic accessories, in particular toothbrushes😳 Where to look for them, if you were hoping for a star hotel and didn’t take it with you, you want to ask the hotel about at least some stores nearby just sail on boats 🤔 On certain days, fire shows are held on the territory. 🔥We got there one day and really liked it. Well done guys! And finally the massage - it was amazing, rightfully the best in Thailand! They massage you in a separate hut overlooking the sea, this promotes relaxation, plus the masseuses are fluent in technique. You need to sign up very much in advance, that’s understandable. There will definitely be new impressions from visiting this place!
