Hot spring Hotels in Kobe

It's a really old Sheraton. Although it's on an artificial island, it's not that inconvenient to go to the subway directly. There are also shops and art galleries downstairs. But the day I went there was a short holiday in Japan and all the rooms were full. It was the first time I encountered a long waiting list in the breakfast restaurant... I was really scared to death when I saw a bar full of people waiting for a table (it would have been a big mess in China). I was in a hurry to check out and catch the flight and tried to communicate with the usher whether I could pack it up. I didn't expect that they would arrange a seat temporarily. I was so grateful! The quality of breakfast was very good!

The room was clean with plenty of amenities. Yet, the facility itself was quite old made some strange noises all night and day. I could hear the sound from upstairs and beside that made me uncomfortable.

Highly recommend for a onsen hotel. The add on kaiseki dinner is wonderful. Breakfast is also such an experience. Onsen can be booked for private use which is included in the package. An overall unforgettable experience. Staff can communicate in English, so no worries. Services and care is excellent.

Absolutely recommend this hotel! For the price and facilities, it was a great deal. Very spacious and clean rooms with very clean onsens that are available to both public and private. The public onsen was much bigger and looked nicer than the private one. Great for couples and / or families with kid older than 7 year olds. Would recommend families and friends to join. They do have a shuttle bus to & from the hotel to Sannomiya station.

Environment: It looks like a castle from the outside. The Japanese-style room with private bath is very spacious. It is close to Jintang and Business Street. One night and two meals, breakfast and dinner are served in the room. The service is very good. When you check in, someone will lead you into the room to introduce the hotel facilities and services. The table will be set ten minutes in advance if the dining time is confirmed. It is a birthday gift and a placemat with the word ”longevity” is used to set the table. It is a sister hotel next door and you can take a bath in the outdoor hot spring pool through the corridor. There are many kinds of food. Most of the cold appetizers are seafood 🦞. Wagyu 🥩 is a little greasy. The overall feeling is very ceremonial. I bought local sake to celebrate and got an ice bucket. You can take a hot spring bath indoors at any time ♨️, which is very satisfying. The reservation is relatively temporary, so it is recommended to plan in advance.

The public bath has two cleaning times, 00-01, 0930-1100. I missed the morning bath and now I regret it. This 800-year-old restaurant has no flaws. I ordered a cake here, which was very delicious. To be frank, it was much better than the cream of the cream cake I bought at L’avenue. The golden bath was very comfortable. After the bath, I went to the room to lie on the massage chair. I felt that staying for a day was not enough. As for transportation, it is only a dozen meters away from the bus station and the Internet celebrity check-in point, which is very convenient. It should also be very convenient to return home during the day. I think both dinner and breakfast are delicious, especially the tofu for breakfast. The service is also very good. The suitcases are placed at the door, and the shoes are ready when we go out. There are 5 of us. We ate in the private room. From Kansai International Airport, take a bus for 1 hour and 5 minutes to Kobe Sannomiya Bus Terminal, and then take a 30-minute bus to Arima Onsen. Then take a 2-minute shuttle or walk for 6 minutes to the hotel; you can also take a bus from Hankyu Express Bus Osaka Umeda Station and Kyoto Station, or transfer to the subway or tram in Kobe City. 2. Facilities and services: There are hot spring baths on the upper floors and underground, and the baths are large and spacious. There is also a large garden and swimming pool, which are beautiful to take pictures of day and night. The package I ordered includes breakfast and dinner, and the room minibar is free. There are all kinds of beer and drinks that I can't drink. In addition, there are drink coupons for coffee, juice and wine in the bar. The breakfast buffet is very rich, with both Japanese and Western styles, and many freshly made specialties; the dinner dishes include Kaiseki cuisine including Kobe beef, and the dining environment and food products are worth the price. 4. Various room types: The room I booked can accommodate 4 people, with two beds and 4 tatami mats on the floor. This type of room is not easy to find. The room is spacious, with a long sofa facing the view. 5. Customer service: The hotel front desk will deliver the luggage to the room, introduce all the facilities, dining and hot spring methods, and how to wear a yukata, which is very complete. The hotel also has a shuttle bus to the hot spring street, which runs every 20 minutes, and it is only 500 meters away on foot.

This hotel is located next to Kobe Port. It only takes a few minutes to walk from Kobe Port, which is extremely convenient. There are foreign waiters, so English communication is not a problem. It's just a little longer to walk from the subway station, but there is a special bus to Sannomiya JR Station. The biggest advantages are the price and location.

First experience in an onsen and ryokan in general. An excellent hotel, although it has seen better days. Good quality and varied food, mostly classic Japanese cuisine, but for lovers of European cuisine and for children there will be something to treat themselves to at the buffet. The onsens are wonderful, equipped with everything necessary, as care and hygiene products they offer locally produced products. I recommend it as a first option because of the proximity to Kobe and Osaka, but on weekends the price is very high. Nevertheless, thanks to the staff for their kindness and hospitality:)
