Lanta Pura Beach Resort Reviews

We booked for 5 nights to enjoy a beach vacation as couple. Unfortunately during our stay they fixed the room and bathroom right below us which resulted in a really bad smell like sewage wandering through the pipes in our bathroom. We requested to switch rooms which the hotel kindly provided. The pool area is great. Breakfast is fine but nothing special. You can have Thai food for breakfast, fruits, breads and jams, eggs, cereals, juices. Location is great, there is a street food market right around the corner. You have to know they have high and low tide there every 6 hours so. When low tide you can take a walk to a close island but I would not recommend going to swim when high tide. There is partially Glas from broken bottles on the sand and the entrance to the piers for boats is close by. So it’s not a typical beach hotel with white long sand beaches and crystal blue water. We rented a scooter and went to other beaches for swimming.

The location and everything was great. The staff helped me book my next transfer, all very smooth. The mattress was a bit old, but besides that the room was lovely. Looking into the jungle.

Lovely hotel with great pool and beach access. Room was big and comfortable with a great balcony with a nice view.

We really enjoy the stay here, the personal its so kind and gentle with the people all the Time. The buffet breakfast its full of variety, the pool its nice with beautiful View of the ocean.

Old hotel with perfect location. Staff service is average - local style of service but friendly. Room conditions and amenities need improvement. Kinda not worth the price comparing with other tourist destinaltion like Phuket/Aonang where you can find pretty much better under same paid.

The room in need for renovation. Bed is hard. However the location is perfect to the walking street and to the beach for sunset.

Older style resort could do with some upgrades, staff where very help full. Can’t complain for the price.

We truly enjoyed this hotel. We were originally supposed to stay only two nights, but extended it to four. I enjoyed the view from the balcony towards to pool and to the sea. The room was a really enjoyable size. Staff were really nice, breakfast was delicious. Location was right next to the night market, and we traveled effortlessly with a car around Ko Lanta. Perfect swimming pool-beach vacation for us.

A budget option at a good location. Breakfast had the usual options.

Lanta Pura located walking distance from Salan Dan pier, staff always very friendly and attentive. Couldn’t fault the location, quiet & peaceful. White sandy beach access from the hotel, perfect beach! Hotel is rather dated, no elevators, dated decor, shabby towels, bathrooms need updating especially the showers. The bed was really hard accompanied by hard pillows, pillow issue was rectified by staff on request. Can’t really fault the place due to price payed and again the location! 🤩

Absolutely beautiful location. Hotel well maintained, staff very kind and friendly. Pool and breakfast were excellent and it is a close walk from Sala Dan pier. Very good.
