"Wonderful Stay at Yurari Rokumyo This place offers a private hot spring and is truly one of the best places to stay. Everything was great—the host was very welcoming, and the place was clean and well-equipped with all the necessary facilities. It's conveniently located, just a short 5–10 minute walk from the train station, and close to supermarkets and tourist spots. I absolutely loved staying here and would highly recommend it!"

"Make sure to check the room amenities carefully. I booked this place and only realized after receiving an email that there was no private bathroom and that I'd have to use a shared one. However, it was clean and odor-free. If your room is on the 3rd floor, the stairs are quite high, so if you have large luggage or mobility issues, you should definitely consider that. I was a bit nervous about the cat mentioned in previous reviews, as I'm allergic. Turns out the cat is very well-behaved and stays mostly in the lobby on the ground floor; you barely even see it, so that was fine."

"1. This hotel is located in between yufuin street and yufuin station. 2. You can either talk uber or walk , if you choose to walk , it take about 20mins. 3. Remember to pack light instead of drag big luggages 4. Kinrin lake and Yufuin floral village is about 10min walk from hotel 5. Night time is real quiet , good place for resting 6. Check in procedure is all automated , cashless payment require for onsen tax which is JPY250 7. Onsen facility : there are two private onsen and one public onsen. Private onsen will be first come first serve basis . It is a very local family style ryokan onsen with reasonable price . 8. Cleanliness : I’ll give 9.5/10, the room and all facility is clean 9. Room is HUGE 10. Free bread and coffee for in house guest (limited quantity ) 11. Wifi - not really good, this can be improve"

"In the ”Zoo” of Yufuyuan, check in at the cashier's desk. The clerk will take you to the room to tell you how to use the equipment, hot springs, etc., and will help you carry your luggage. It’s really the feeling of a fairy tale world, the quiet room is big, and the hot springs are no one. It is also close to Jinlin Lake and is worth a try."

"Although the hotel is a bit old, it's exactly the style and feel I wanted: rustic decor, beautiful surroundings, a first-class private bath, and a great location—perfect for anyone who enjoys hiking. "This guesthouse offers great value for money. It has a private onsen (hot spring bath), but we booked a room with a shared bathroom, so using the onsen was practically mandatory. It costs 250 yen per person, booked by time, so you won't be sharing with other guests. A soak before bed is incredibly relaxing. Breakfast can be ordered from the owner; it's simple: vegetable soup and bread, 300 yen per person. The guesthouse also provides complimentary drinks: coffee, milk tea, and lemonade. Late August is probably the off-season, so the guesthouse wasn't crowded. The owner has his own garden and does weaving, so he sells his own handmade soaps, essential oils, sachets, and fabric products – very natural and cozy. The rooms were very clean. You need to change into slippers before entering the building where your room is located; the owner is quite particular. The guesthouse has a shared refrigerator and washing machine. We bought some wine and yogurt and put them in there. We enjoyed them after our evening onsen soak and also had them with the yogurt in the morning. Perfect! The guesthouse is about a 15-minute walk from Yufuin Station, but the path is lined with rice paddies and a small river – lush and green, perfect for summer, with the sounds of insects and a gentle breeze. Bicycles are also available for rent at guesthouses; you can ask the owner. Hope you enjoy summer in Yufuin!"

"The environment is very quiet, very suitable for staying for a few more days, and it feels like home. The kitchen has heating and a barbecue grill, as well as recycling bins. The beds were very comfortable and there was a large TV too. There is no need to worry about shortage of supplies during the few days you stay here. Towels and consumables are plenty. There is also an AEON store open until 10pm on the way back from the street, or a convenience store, which means you can cook. We went there at the end of January. The night sky was very clear. There were no lights on the way to the B&B, so we could see everything very clearly and beautifully. 😊Just be careful not to fall into the ditch... The person in charge told us that this B&B is run by the yakiniku restaurant ”Wasaku”, which is right on the street. It tasted great. After booking the accommodation, you can contact the email address to arrange a free shuttle bus. There seems to be no contact address on trip.com. You may look for the restaurant's email address online. It seems that the same group of people are looking at it."

"Fukuoka is hotter than ever this year. After interacting with locals, I realized that although it was my first time to visit Fukuoka, it was easier and easier to get around than I imagined. I knew very early on that I wanted to include the suburbs and Yufuin in my itinerary, and I wanted to stay there for one night. I was debating whether I should soak in hot springs in the summer and find a suitable accommodation for one person, so I found this B&B. It’s true that it’s not close to the station with your luggage, and it’s a bit hard in the summer. You can soak in the outdoor hot springs in the summer, and watch the stars, which are hard to capture on your phone. I went there once in the morning and once in the evening. After putting up the sign, it became a private soup. I like the sound of creaking templates, the exquisite breakfast boxes, and buying small things near the front desk. The boss couple are very hospitable, attentive and thoughtful, and the breakfast is delicious. I read the reviews and said I must order it, and I thought so too! Make sure to buy more snacks for dinner. Many shops on Yufuin Street close one after another at 5 pm local time. Plan your itinerary well. If you want to see more attractions, you can go to the nearby Beppu to see the hot springs together, or just chill in Yufuin. Very happy. When leaving, you can have your luggage delivered to the station. In this way, you can slowly walk to Jinlin Lake in your free time, and then eat slowly all the way back to the station hahahaha. Traveling is about experiencing❤"

"The hotel is located at Yufuin Station, which takes about 10 minutes by taxi. The room is spacious and has indoor and outdoor private hot springs. The beds are comfortable and ice water and hot water are thoughtfully prepared for us to drink after soaking in the hot springs. We have two meals per stay. Dinner includes Wagyu beef and sashimi! Breakfast is so rich! Alcoholic drinks are not expensive, especially, their plum wine is delicious👍There is a Hong Kong man working in the hotel. Communication is not a problem at all, because it is not a self-driving tour, I got up early the next day to catch JR Hakata. They will help you book a taxi for pick-up and drop-off! In terms of facilities, there are public baths for men and women, massage chairs and beds. My friend and I spent a very comfortable night there!"
