"Had a great stay at this hotel! The location was excellent — right next to Dotonbori Street, making it super convenient for food, shopping, and sightseeing. Everything was within walking distance, and the area was lively both day and night. The hotel itself was comfortable and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Osaka. If you’re staying at main tower residence, you can request for daily housekeeping at no extra cost. Otherwise it’ll be scheduled housekeeping, maybe once every 3-4 days."

"The room rates are affordable, and the location is excellent with convenient transportation. The rooms are simple yet comfortable, clean, and spotless. The front desk staff are thoughtful and attentive, and they speak Chinese. The facilities are comprehensive."

"This hotel is perfectly located for anyone who loves subculture, as it's right by Denden Town. Shinsekai and Tsutenkaku are also next door, so there are tons of great food options nearby. The room felt like a renovated studio apartment from Korea, but it was incredibly convenient having a sink, gas stove, and microwave inside – perfect for heating up late-night snacks from the convenience store. The room was also more spacious than typical 3-star business hotels, so I had no trouble at all opening and organizing my suitcase. Given the excellent value for money, I'm definitely planning to stay here again on my next trip to Osaka!"

"Had previously stayed at a Hotel Keihan Kyoto Ekiminami in Kyoto, and it was a fairly good experience. So when Hotel Keihan Tenmabashi Ekimae popped up when I was doing a search on Osaka hotels, I decided to give it a go. Pleasantly surprised I must say. The hotel room was very nice and cozy and pleasantly decorated. It had much more flair than the Kyoto branch, and had a more inviting and stylish vibe. Everything was well maintained, clean and almost pristine. Staff were friendly and professional. As for the location, that could be a minor inconvenience for some, as I had to transit 2 train lines to get there, though overall I found it not a hardship to travel to many of the places I wanted to visit. Huge plus was there was a mall just opposite the hotel, and it was walking distance to 3 different konbinis. Overall I still enjoyed my stay pretty much, and will consider this hotel again."

"Right next to the busiest tourist area in Osaka and with access to large number of facilities., Spaworld is surely a top choice to stay. But actually, the day ticket only costs 1500 yen and overnight staying fee is 1300 yen, which means you don't really need to stay in the hotel to use everything and stay for a night, kind of like a SPA net cafe. The plus for using the hotel is that you allow yourself to enter anytime you want."

"Hotel were offering late checkouts to guests who left 5* reviews, so I feel that the reviews have been artificially inflated by people rating 5* so that they can get late checkout. Location was quite far from the JR Namba station and even further from the metro Namba station. The bed was really hard and uncomfortable. Bathroom was tiny, kitchenette had a raised lip which was easy to trip over or stub your toes on. However, the size of the room was good, there was a good amount of space. It would be ok to spend a night or two here but I think we were there 5 nights which wasn’t great with the uncomfortable bed. When we checked in we were told a room number of an uncleaned room and had to ring out of hours to swap rooms, but that was all resolved quickly by the hotel. Also to note, the keyboxes didn’t feel very safe/ secure because the codes followed a pattern (so if you knew one you’d know the other rooms), but we didn’t use the lockbox except for when we checked in so it didn’t affect us, but just something to consider. Overall it was ok for a budget hotel but I think the reviews make it seem too good to be true!"

"I recently stayed at Mercure Tokyu Stay Osaka and had a mixed experience. One of the main concerns is that the room lighting is quite dim, which may not be suitable for elderly guests or anyone who prefers a brighter environment. It can feel uncomfortable, especially at night. Another downside is that many basic items come with extra charges. Bottled water is only provided complimentary once; after that, each bottle costs around 300 yen, which feels unnecessary for a hotel at this level. Service-wise, I was disappointed that there was no assistance offered for carrying luggage, even when a wheelchair user was present. This level of service does not meet expectations for hospitality. On the positive side, the in-room washing machine is very convenient and works well, especially for longer stays. Overall, while the hotel has some useful facilities, the service and comfort level could be improved, particularly for elderly guests"

"Good location, with good food, bars and convenient store nearby. Clean and decently spacious rooms as well. But for some reason hotel gate password was changed abruptly without notification and we were locked out at late night and need to call assistance to open the door."
