"Hotel Jen by Shangri-La is a 4-star hotel under the Shangri-La brand. It's an older property, but it's very well-maintained. Manager Wang Jia from Guest Services took excellent care of me during my stay! Jenny at the front desk was very friendly and efficient during check-in. Kim helped me with my luggage, Song Liang directed me to the elevator, and Manager Guo even made me coffee. I was very satisfied throughout my entire stay; it's truly a hotel worth revisiting! The coffee was rich and aromatic. A superb stay! Five-star rating."

"My stay at Shangri-La Shenyang was absolutely divine ✨ I have to give a special shout-out to Guest Relations, Ellie! She was incredibly patient, explaining the 'Mountain Road and Pine Sound' art masterpiece in the lobby lounge's east wing. It's a stunning piece by a New Zealand artist team who recreated a Ming Dynasty painting by Tang Bohu using crystal pillars – a fantastic blend of East and West, exuding such style. It was a truly immersive and delightful experience of Chinese landscape aesthetics. Later that night, I even received a thoughtful delivery of warm chicken soup. My fatigue instantly melted away. As someone who appreciates attention to detail, I absolutely loved it. The service and ambiance were both top-notch. This is definitely my go-to hotel whenever I'm in Shenyang!"

"Service was excellent and operator could communicate in both English and Chinese. Service desk was responsive during working hours. The locally sourced breakfasts were varied and delicious. It introduced me local eateries I wouldn't have known about. The room was clean and tidy; facilities were as advertised, and housekeeping is confirmed each day via WeChat. "Beyond satisfied! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Shenyang. First, the **service**: All hotel staff, including the front desk, restaurant, housekeeping, and cleaning crew, were incredibly friendly, patient, and customer-focused. Second, the **location**: Newly opened in 2024, the hotel boasts an extremely convenient location, very close to the Exhibition Center, Shenyang South Station, and Sujiatun Station. Our room featured two beds – one king-size (2 meters) and one large twin/double (1.2 meters) – comfortably accommodating four people, along with a spacious sofa. Third, **nearby amenities**: There are numerous dining options available, with many right on the ground floor. Ordering takeout is also incredibly convenient. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit!"

"Located near Taiyuan Street, this five-star hotel offers incredible value for money. It seems we have a special connection with Grand Metropark Hotels; after experiencing the excellent service at the Hangzhou Metropark, we were once again impressed by the warm hospitality of the staff at the Shenyang Grand Metropark. When we checked in, the front desk staff saw that we had a child, making us a party of three, and immediately upgraded us to a larger twin room. That alone deserves high praise! At check-out, they proactively offered a late check-out, which was very convenient for us to finish up our errands. From now on, Grand Metropark will be our first choice whenever we travel to any city."

"The location is fantastic! It's only a 5-minute walk to the Shenyang Imperial Palace, and Wanghouyuan is also nearby. Getting a taxi is super convenient! The room is huge with well-defined functional areas: a hanging area for clothes, a kitchen area, a living room area, and a very spacious bathroom area. The bathtub is also large (though there aren't disposable bath liners, so I recommend bringing your own). My daughter and I had a wonderfully relaxing bath at night. The bedding is comfortable, but do note that the twin beds cannot be pushed together. There's plenty of space to open luggage without feeling cramped! However, I did notice a few things that could be improved: 1. Courier deliveries can come directly to the door upstairs, which made me feel a bit concerned about security. 2. The water quality was very poor; as you can see in the picture, the water ran yellow, which scared me! 3. The door rubs against the floor, making a loud noise. Despite that, the soundproofing is exceptional! Our room was right next to the elevator, but we couldn't hear the elevator, any noise from the hallway, or street noise. This level of quiet is something even chain hotels can't achieve, so we had an amazing night's sleep! If I come back, I'll definitely choose this place again."

"This apartment is absolutely fantastic! It's incredibly spacious and comes with excellent amenities. The service was also top-notch, and the location is superb. Overall, it was a truly wonderful stay. I would definitely want to book this place again on my next visit to Shenyang. My only minor disappointment was that breakfast wasn't included."

"Every year when I come back to Shenyang, I always book this hotel without a doubt. Each time, I choose a three-bedroom apartment, which is convenient for my husband and me, and our son and daughter to have their own space. Most of the time, I book through the official website and with Ms. Liu from sales, though occasionally I've booked on Ctrip. Regardless of the platform, I always receive excellent service. This time, I arrived at the hotel close to 11 PM. It was comforting to see the familiar smiling face of the front desk staff. After recognizing my member status, she even upgraded my room to an executive suite. There have been several times I considered booking hotels on Youth Street, but while they may seem luxurious, they're not as practical for a family like ours staying for a few days, especially with all the laundry. At Ascott Shenyang, I can wash and dry clothes every day, and the kitchen is very convenient with a refrigerator to store groceries. When I've stayed for longer periods, I've even ordered delivery from Sam's Club and cooked my own meals. I've even spent Chinese New Year here and cooked our reunion dinner myself. If I had to point out a drawback, I'd say some of the facilities could use an upgrade. For example, the speakers next to the TV are still from the DVD era; they could easily be replaced with modern, affordable, and functional Bluetooth speakers. The hotel kitchen is fully equipped with tableware and cookware, and there's a Xin Tiandi supermarket nearby to buy seasonings, plus a convenient Lawson downstairs. The only sad thing is the decline of Taiyuan Street; it was so bustling when I first came to Shenyang over 20 years ago, but now many shops have closed. While the breakfast selection isn't huge, it's sufficient, offering both Chinese and Western options. The staff in the breakfast area are all very warm and polite. Parking downstairs costs 40 yuan per day. What's more convenient now is that after registering your license plate when checking in, you don't need parking vouchers every time you leave. You just settle the total parking fee when you check out. I'm always grateful for an incident during Christmas two years ago. I fell ill when I was alone in the room, and struggled to order medicine for delivery. It was the gentleman downstairs who brought it up to me, and I started to feel better after taking it. By the time my husband and child returned, I was already much improved. I've seen him still working near the front desk during my current stay. I'll be back this summer for another long stay. "The hotel is perfectly located, directly across from Shengjing Hospital. I was very satisfied with my stay. The room was renovated last year, and the amenities are all updated. The air conditioning was exceptionally warm. The front desk staff was very polite and helpful. The hotel thoughtfully provided beautiful balloons for the children, which delighted them greatly. I'll definitely stay at this hotel again!"
