The room was clean and tidy with no unpleasant odors, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the bathroom's separate wet and dry area was a thoughtful touch. The staff were warm and attentive, efficient and quick with check-in and check-out, and very patient in answering all my questions. The facilities were complete and well-maintained, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a good night's sleep. It's incredibly convenient for taxis or ride-sharing services. Downstairs, you'll find the Zhuozhan Shopping Center and Wanda Plaza, so shopping, dining, and catching a movie are all just steps away. What was even more delightful was discovering that just across the street is the former site of the Bank of China's Changchun headquarters from before liberation. For history buffs and photography enthusiasts, you can easily snap some fantastic photos when passing by in the morning or evening. **Room Experience: Spotless and Cozy** Staying during Chinese New Year, the room was decorated with a lovely festive atmosphere. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and they even offered a choice of pillows, which meant even someone like me, who struggles with sleeping in new beds, had a great night's sleep. Shangri-La's renowned 'hospitality' was fully evident here. From the concierge proactively helping with luggage and guiding me to the front desk, to the warm towels and tea offered by the front desk staff during check-in, every detail exuded warmth. I asked a lobby staff member about local dining recommendations, and she not only described the dining environment and approximate distance in detail but also thoughtfully reminded us of the convenience of getting around: a central hub for exploring attractions. Using the hotel as our base, our itinerary for the past few days was incredibly smooth: a taxi ride to Nanhu Park, Changchun Zoological and Botanical Garden, Ice and Snow World, and Ocean Fantasy Park were all within a reasonable distance. After a day of exploring, returning to the hotel meant easy access to the bustling commercial area downstairs for food and shopping. If you're planning a trip to Changchun, especially in winter when you want both comfort and convenience, the Shangri-La Changchun is an choice you won't regret. It's more than just a place to sleep; it's the perfect base to truly experience the charm of this city. "I came from Beijing to run the 2026 Changchun Marathon. Upon arrival, the front desk attendant upgraded my room. Both the lobby and the room were spacious and bright, and the cleanliness was excellent, with comfortable bedding. The hotel originally offered a late checkout until 2 PM for marathon participants. However, since my return train was at 5:30 PM, the front desk attendant specially arranged a 4 PM checkout for me. Huge thumbs up for that! I had to leave at 6 AM, so I missed breakfast. But the hotel prepared a breakfast bag for me with milk, eggs, and small bread rolls, which was perfect. I honestly survived the entire marathon on those two small bread rolls and the course provisions. Five-star reviews are the limit on Ctrip, not the limit of this hotel. I hope they continue to strive for excellence and become a new benchmark for hotels in Changchun!"

"This hotel is located in the heart of the city, on Hongqi Street. It's right next to the famous shopping mall 'Zhe You Shan' and across from the Changchun Film Studio Museum. With the #54 tram stopping right outside, getting around is super convenient, perfect for sightseeing and shopping. The surrounding area has great transport links, and taxis are easily available. The front desk staff, especially the lovely 'A. Ice' (that's her WeChat name!), was incredibly warm and professional. Check-in was efficient, and they were quick to resolve any issues, making me feel right at home. The room itself was spacious and the mini-bar was complimentary. The views from the room were expansive, and the air conditioning was adjustable, which made for a really pleasant stay overall. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I'm back in Changchun."

"At 8 o'clock in the evening, I went to the front desk to check in. The room 705 opened at the front desk was anxious to eat with friends. I didn't go upstairs. When I came back at 2 am, I found that the door of the room 705 was directly facing the elevator passage. I taboo this room and the room card does not know why it is demagnetized and can't be opened, so I went downstairs to find it. The front desk told her that I didn’t want this room. The front desk said that there was no room. I said what to do. Normal hotel must have a spare room. Then I will contact Trip.com because I really taboo the feng shui of this room. I set a big bed room. The front desk upgraded the suite for free at this time. Normally, it should give 1 point, but it looks like the service will give 3 points on the basis of the problem being solved in the end. There are no shortcomings."

You can get the keycard for the elevator at the post box downstairs and you can pay for the deposit (100 RMB) and get it refunded by AliPay. Make sure to communicate with the host to get the directions to the apartment beforehand."

"I brought my family for a trip around Changchun and chose this Sheraton hotel. Check-in was quick, and they even provided kids' slippers and toothbrushes when they saw I had a child, which I really appreciate. The gym and pool are on the 5th floor. I noticed the staff were very proactive in greeting guests and saying hello during my stay, which was excellent. **Environment:** The location is pretty good; there's a night market nearby where you can grab some BBQ in the evening.
