"Clean and very easy to spend. Free amenities and shampoo and body lotion are also available. No toothbrush is attached, so you need to bring it with you. Please rent a hair dryer at the front desk. The front desk is until 9pm, so you need to take a shower early. The location is great and adult bicycle rental is also free. There is also a pound cake at the front desk and it is very delicious. The staff at the front desk are very friendly and gentle. The breakfast shop below is definitely better to go. It's delicious."

"The hotel is a beach hotel, but not the best for swimming - waves, wind, rocks. But if you have a car, it is convenient to get from the hotel to both the north and south of the island. There is a large selection of food/restaurants near the hotel."

"Next to the beach, there is a breakwater for playing in the sea. The location is very convenient. There is a hot spring pool in the swimming pool, which can be used as a hot spring by the elderly. There is also a free laundry room. However, the hotel facilities are a bit old, the windows cannot be opened, and the fresh air blower and air conditioner are very loud. They must be turned off at night, otherwise it feels like sleeping on an airplane."

"It's not what it seems. It is a hotel that has very good things and others not so much. When we arrived we were given a room with a double bed and a sofa bed. We had booked a twin room and were told this was Trip's problem. That they only guarantee the views. All the furniture is wooden and very old. The old sofa, with a thin mattress and perforated sheets... Finally the next day we were changed to a room with two beds (and sea view) which was much better. However, the furniture was also old. It is advertised here that the cleaning of the room is daily but it is not true. They clean only one day for stays of at least 5 nights. If you are staying less than a few days and you want the room to be made for you, 50 USD. If you want clean towels, 10USD. The hotel does not have elevators, so you have to carry your bags up the stairs to the room (on the floor you are on). Just arriving they charge you 147.45USD in taxes (amenity fee, ta tax, ge tax, county ta tax...). Good: Prime location, in front of (private) beach, with restaurants, supermarkets and shops next door. The main road is right there. Swimming pool with hammocks and a bar (opens at 3pm). There is a refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave in the room."

"Hidden gem with old-school island charm We absolutely loved our stay at The Kauai Inn! It has such a peaceful, laid-back atmosphere and feels way more authentic than the big resort hotels. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the whole property was lush and green — surrounded by mountains and palm trees. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Location was perfect for exploring the island — close to Līhuʻe, but quiet and tucked away. We’d 100% stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a more local, relaxed experience."

"Just putting this here hope it helps others Breakfast is grab n go, which means there's a pantry consisting of packaged muffin, cereal box, pastry, packaged milk just packaged everything. some fruits if you're early. Pls note if a hot cooked breakfast is important to you. There's also a resort fee to cover bike rental, yoga class, and a water bottle (that we didn't end up using). The resort is lovely and bathroom is clean. Nice view of ocean from the room but the beach is not v swimmable."

"Beautiful hotel, beautiful room, beautiful swimming pool, the people working at the bar are very pleasant however disappointment at the reception level (not all of us agree) but when you pay that much you expect more consideration and kindness, it's a shame, For the explanation, my French blue card does not pass with their ***** reading system (message stating insufficient balance) except that the day before another person allowed me to insert it and make my code and as if by magic It works in fact I made purchases in town right after with this famous card. Bad luck, I had a bad trip, I was planning to come back at the end of my trip but it clearly put me off."

"The service was fine. The unit was very old carpet smelled,  the unit needs to be updated. Everything was looking like it was from 1970 , if it was updated, I would stay there again, but not the way it is now for the price that you pay was too much. It did have a washer and dryer which was good. It had designated parking, which was cool and staff was nice ,"

"It takes half an hour to drive from Lihue Airport to the hotel. Check-in is very fast. The room is very big. There is a swimming pool outside the window, facing the sea and the spring flowers are blooming. The hotel gives 50 credits every day, which can be automatically deducted when you spend money in the three restaurants in the hotel, hang up your room account, and check-out. The life in the resort is leisurely. There are yoga classes at 8 o'clock every morning. You can practice on the outdoor grass and it is very pleasant under the sun. I ate at all three restaurants and it tasted very good."
