The room is clean and quiet. Location is convenient and view is great.

Nice hotel in a great location in Kaohsiung. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodative and could speak enough English to be effective. The view from my upper floor balcony was great overlooking the harbor and many of Kaohsiung’s main attractions. For the price, having a nice balcony was a great amenity. Local access to the underground transit was really close as was the local trolly. I’d rate the walkability as very high. That includes proximity to a larger grocery store, higher end restaurants, local family owned restaurants and shopping. The night market was only a single stop away on mass transit. There are multiple walk-on opportunities for local ferries that provide tours around the harbor that I recommend. For perspective I am a solo senior traveler from the USA who has traveled Asia extensively.

The service attitude of this hotel is very bad. We booked four rooms. When we went to the hotel, the results were not available and there was no refund. There are too many black shops in Taiwan. Just like Hainan Island, the service staff of the hotel have a bad attitude. Don’t use it in the future. I will go to this hotel again! It’s a black hotel among black hotels.
