Excellent suite for family of four adults. Very tidy, excellent beds and helpful reception staff.

This is an outstanding little Motel, with great facilities, but surprisingly Google says that it is a 3 star hotel.No way; it's much better than the 4 star hotel we stayed in the night before. It's a great value hotel, close to the centre of town and railway station. Book it! You'll be glad you did!

We got the large room, and it was very spacious and all amenities including kitchenete sets and utensils. There was a balcony as well. Car park is free. Location just across Whale Watch Centre round the bend. Good choice.

Location is good to all the places. Guest laundry room is opened from 7pm to 10pm only and they will close the room after that. But washers and dryers are quite a lot and you can wash clothes easily. Overall is good.

The motel is right by the main road, so it’s very easy find it. The room we stayed at is clean, large, and very comfortable. The Black Rabbit Pizza is a stone’s away from it and the little Cods and Crayfish quick bite restaurant is 100 metres away. The view from the motel is amazing with snow capped mountains in the background. It’s great. Highly recommended.

Good location in Kaikoura. Owner was friendly and room was clean. Amenities are a little old, but are in good and working condition.

The hotel is in a good location. Just across the road is the lake. There is a supermarket by the lake and many choices of places to eat. Due to the price, the room is very small, which is a little inconvenient.

I booked accommodation for 4 people, but there were only 3 beds available on site. The boss asked me to pull out another bed from under the bed, make it myself, and then assigned me to a room with barrier-free space. I was a little surprised.

Check in and check out are very convenient, the bathroom is clean, the kitchen is equipped with an oven, the location is good, overall it is very good, but the carpet looks a bit old and dirty

Kaikoura is not big, you can walk everywhere, the room is nice and has a small balcony, but the laundry is self-service and charged

My friend's room was on the first floor. She said there were no bugs. Maybe our room was on the far side of the second floor and could easily attract bugs.

This is probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was full of small flying insects and not clean. The space is quite large and the location is easy to find.

I booked a twin room and was given 2 bedrooms and 1 living room. But it was clearly stated that if I needed to use another twin room, I would have to pay extra. The living room was connected to the bedroom with a big bed, so I could only use the big bed. There were kitchenware in the living room, so I could cook my own food. The check-in waiter was also very enthusiastic and told me where to have fun and where to eat.
