Not far from Kaifeng Railway Station, close to Daxiangguo Temple, Kaifeng Prefecture and other attractions, there are various restaurants and dessert shops nearby, and RT-Mart supermarket is not far away. The inconvenience is that you need to go 90 degrees from the main entrance of the hotel to the bus station. The room is exquisite in size, but fortunately it is fully functional. The corner of the desk is dangerous and has no rounded corners. The water temperature and flow rate will change slightly when taking a shower, and the washbasin leaks a little. For some of the weekend, I took a train from Xi’an to Kaifeng. This weekend, a cold front came in. It didn’t matter because the Gulou night market had everything I needed to adjust. I found some hidden spots (like Bayu Morning Rikaye Alcohol, Lecker’s Leban German Restaurant, and Jieyou Grocery Little Bar) while exploring. The Millenium Park, Gulou Market, and Wansui Shan Wuxia City are very close. The hotel property is great for walking, and the room was really comfortable. Front desk was easy to communicate with despite the language barrier, and everything very efficient. There is a nice gym and pool, but I was out exploring. There is also a shuttle which can take you to a couple of spots nearby. This property is good for conventions or families, but I was fine as a solo traveler. Food good.

The boss is very nice. She is warm and sincere and has a very good service attitude. Her dog is also very cute and family. She will provide help in time when needed. Seeing that I haven't eaten breakfast, she even gave me a big corn on the cob. Wow, she is really my friend. Cry to death.
The environment is very comfortable and the sanitary conditions are very good. I wore the newly bought slippers everywhere and the soles were not dirty at all. I was surprised. They are really clean. It is also very quiet at night in the alley, so I can sleep comfortably. This B&B is really great. It is fully booked almost every day. I will stay here again next time I come!

GGuest UserI had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms are high-end, comfortable, and clean. While smoking is permitted in the hotel, I was pleased to find that my room did not have a smoky smell. The staff was attentive to our needs, and the breakfast offered a good selection.
However, I found that some essential services for foreigners were lacking. For example, assistance with booking a taxi, sending packages, or arranging tours was not available. I was surprised that some essential services were not included, especially given the number of staff available to assist with carrying luggage and opening doors. This was a missed opportunity to enhance the overall guest experience which is something other hotels in China typically offer at no extra cost.
Overall, while the hotel itself is nice, I believe it could benefit from providing these additional services to enhance the guest experience.

From the moment you step into the lobby, you can feel the top service - the porter takes the initiative to help carry the luggage, the front desk lady has a super sweet smile, quickly checks you in and introduces the facilities. The room is even more detail-oriented, with soft and skin-friendly bedding, a large bathtub, and even welcome fruits and handwritten cards are full of ritual! The restaurant window is the beautiful view of Jinming Lake, not far from Wansui Mountain and Qingming Riverside Park. A great experience.

GGuest UserIt was my first time to come to Kaifeng and I stayed at Song Dynasty Bianjing Hotel. The overall feeling was very good. The room layout was generous and elegant, the room was spacious, clean and tidy, the view outside the window was wide, the toiletries were of good quality, and the bathroom and toilet were separated and did not affect each other. I originally wanted to stay for one night, but thought the hotel was nice so I extended it for two nights. The room I booked at that time could not be renewed, but the pretty lady at the front desk gave me a free upgrade and solved the problem. I am very grateful. The hotel is very close to several attractions such as Qingming Riverside Park. As for food, the first floor tripe and soup dumplings next to the hotel are good. The mapo tofu opposite is also very delicious. It is a few hundred meters away from the snack night market. Free milk was delivered to the room in the evening, which was very considerate. The breakfast was also very good, clean, delicious and with a wide variety. In short, I had a very good overall impression of the hotel. The driver told me that the second phase of Qingming Riverside Park is also under construction. I hope I can book this hotel next time I visit the entire Qingming Riverside Park.

Mmeiling tooThis is a new place with clean and spacious rooms. The owner is a very pleasant young man, always very obliging and quick to respond to all our requests. Eating shops are within walking distance. One of the shops served delicious yue tiao and soya drink.The sights will need a bit of walking but could still be reached by public bus, although you might have to change buses, depending on where you want to go to. A taxi costs about 18 yuan to the train station/long distance bus station.

SShue YingGood place for international guests! Aunty that runs the place is really nice and responsive. The stay was pleasant, the place is old but functioning and reasonably clean for a homestay. Aunty's children speak English and she'll ask them to help, so don't need to be afraid to ask questions. The location is amazing, with an electric ”hello bike (Alipay)” parking spot just on the main road, then everything is easily accessible. Aunty kindly offered to drive me the short distance to the main road to take bus 38 to the north train station as she felt my bag too heavy. Simple fuss free place, would recommend for budget travellers looking for convenience over amenities.
