The owner is very friendly and was easy to communicate with (via translate app). We got a great room with private bathroom. Whilst the bed is a bit hard en the toilet off the squad type, that is to be expected in this part of Asia. We had a great stay here as it was just a short walk from the lively old town centre. Would definitely recommend this place to other western traveler’s. The other guests were welcoming to us and some spoke some English with us. Oh there is free drinking water from the ancient well, hot water and the owner shared a lot off fresh fruit with us. Thank you for the great stay

It feels great to stay at Yan Chaoyang Boutique Inn when visiting Jianshui Ancient City! The inn is in an excellent location, close to Chaoyang Tower in the ancient city. It is very convenient to go shopping in the ancient city, and it is quiet in the bustling city. The service of the inn is hotel standard, the environment is clean and tidy, the courtyard parking lot is large, and there are green landscapes, the breakfast is delicious, the rooms are spacious and bright, and the bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas. The owner and staff of the inn are warm and thoughtful, polite and hospitable, and it is very comfortable to live here.

Superb welcome from Mr Xu, he made us taste his tea, his wines, liqueurs and he speaks English which made it easy for us to communicate. I highly recommend stopping here if you come to Jianshui. In addition, he took us on foot to draw water and gave us his restaurant recommendations. Really, a great immersion into local life. THANKS !

The location of the hotel is excellent and the travel is very convenient. The surrounding transportation network is developed, whether it is to go to the ancient city and Zitao Street or the shopping area is very easy. The hotel has an elegant environment. Advantages. Very close to Jianshui train. Just across the road. There are oranges and bananas for you to pick up. Disadvantages. Bath water will splash onto the floor in front of the toilet. Disposable slippers will get wet after one use. Forget it if you want to watch TV. It is very troublesome to switch channels. Find the central channel and turn it on for 5 seconds, and it will show full-screen ads. There will also be ads in the middle of the program. There is also an advertising channel between channels. I wanted to watch Beijing Channel but couldn't. It crashed after a few minutes of turning it on. The same picture appeared when I switched it on again. It is best to bring a few convenient hangers for washing clothes in hot weather.

It stands silently at the corner of the alley, and the blue brick and gray tiles of the building darts convey its historical memory of the house of the tower beams and arches ingeniously, containing its story of the years. Here, you can sleep until you wake up naturally. People passing by the alley tell the story of Jianshui, accompanied by the songbirds, taste, enjoy the scenery, listen to the wind... I will really find that the world is worth it! ! ! We live in a deluxe private room in Linxiang. The ancient buildings outside the window are scattered. The small courtyard is full of vitality and sits in the garden and drinks tea. It is really pleasant. In addition, the room is fully equipped, bright and clean, and the log style is very warm. I feel that time has slowed down. (PS: The boss service is very warm, handsome guy! The boss is very talkative and recommended a lot of food and local characteristics to us)

I originally booked only two nights, but I loved it on the first day I arrived in Jianshui. I happened to stay in a boutique room. Very suitable for one person, and stayed another night. Living in a small single room alone is very cozy and safe. Although the room is small, the owner's thoughtfulness is reflected everywhere. In such a small room, there is actually a small tea room and a place to dry clothes, which is very thoughtful. The only drawback is that the toilet has no door and it is a bit cold when taking a shower. It would be better to hang a shower curtain. The location of the inn is also good, right on the edge of the ancient city, but very quiet, I really like it here! I want to come again next time.

Booked this for a friend. It's in the ancient city, very close to the scenic spot. The front desk service is very enthusiastic and introduced other attractions. It's very clean. The room lady is very good and helped my friend renew the reservation for another day.
