The staff are great, outstanding helpful and friendly. They also offer concierge service and driver to get yo the sights/ gondola! A Didi from Tongren airport to the hotel is very easy to pre order and cheap! Get a river side view room, do tranquil! The food at the restaurant is inexpensive and good. Be great if the hotel has a gym/ swimming pool. ( they have the space) . a great overall experience. Do make sure one walks at night to the village for authentic village food. This was a nice place to stay to visit Fanjingshan. The have a car that can drive you the 2 km to the mountain in the morning. The restaurant had a nice breakfast and the food was generally good but there isn’t much open around the hotel or in the hotel for snacks or water etc. accept a Dong Village about 1 km which is walkable. It closes around 9 so make sure to have supplies if you need any.
