Ramada Hotels in Istanbul

The hotel is a great base away from the hub of Istanbul but is an easy (and cheap! ) tram ride away from the Blue Mosque, Hadjid Sofia, underground water cisterns, the Grand Bazaar as well as easy access to the ferry port. (Lovely trip to the Asia side of Istanbul) The rooms are clean and we had a great housekeeper Serife who left our room spotless each day. We also received a bowl of fruit in the room with the compliments of the hotel. Bottled water I. The fridge every day. The staff that we interacted with were all friendly and helpful. Would recommend as a reasonable cost hotel that is clean.

The location is quiet. It is a 25-minute taxi ride from Taksim Square. It's convenient because there's a kale outlet right in front. The room condition is very good. The room was cleaned every day, so I had a good rest for 7 days. There are several Ramada hotels in Istanbul, so when using a taxi, It's a good idea to show your room card.

The stay was absolutely terrible and underwhelming - The staff could care less about your personal experience and chalk it up to indifference. 1st day - Reception was ok but upon entering our room we noticed that the bathroom door had been ripped off the hinges. We asked the bellboy why that was and were other rooms in this condition. He said it was normal and we were shocked. 2nd day - We made a claim with one of the staff (Manager we think) and they said that was not the correct information about the room. They offered us a room change but we were not given details and as we had unpacked we asked for other options. She said the door would be fixed or put back within the next 1-2 days. We never heard back from anyone. Days 1-7 breakfast & dinner - The food was not what I would consider 4 star and very normal and on 2-3 occasions certain containers were empty and none bothered to refill. The atmosphere was so chaotic it reminded us of a social diner. The other restaurant was more comfortable but the proces of the menu were a total ripoff. The concierge service was very poor and when we were going to book a 1 days tour around Istanbul I asked to pay in Turkish Lira. They wanted to charge me 40 lira to the Euro which I thought was abusive, we cancelled then and there. Overall a very disappointing experince and I will get the usual excuse that that is not the standard bla, bla, bla. I have read similar reviews and nothing has been done to correct tese issues. NEVER AGAIN The only positive thing to note as many others have pointed out is the central location with access to everything.

The front desk gave a free upgrade to the suite. It was really touching to upgrade to the suite for two nights under such tight housing. The sun shines directly into the room and feels very comfortable

Brilliant hospitality by the staff namely Mr. Coskun, Mr. Batuhan, Kitchen staff- Ms. Nur & others. We ordered room service a couple of times and the food was flavourful as well. Helpful with sight seeing tours and booking of taxi services too 👍

The sea view room is very beautiful, the hotel is neat and clean, and the decoration is high-grade. The sea view restaurant is beautiful!

The hotel is relatively new and clean, which is satisfactory. There is a small supermarket next to the hotel to meet daily needs, but the sound insulation of the room is not very good, the street is louder.

I was very disappointed in the system and the staff of this hotel. I booked a room for 3 days with breakfast included, and the payment was not small. 2 days at the reception desk and at the entrance for breakfast they told us that we did not have breakfast included and when I began to be indignant and show the reservation in which it was clearly written that breakfast was included for the whole 3 days, without listening to me, they said okay, okay, go ahead and all this was in the presence of my mother and my child. It seemed to me that this situation was not only with me because every time they shut my mouth, not allowing me to finish with the words okay, go ahead . on the third day they already decided that we included breakfast, but the unpleasant aftertaste from the staff’s negligence and manner of shutting you up without listening to you was not a pleasant one...

The hotel reception staff are friendly and very helpful especially Hactice , think that’s her name . The rooms are nicely decorated and all you need . Water replaced daily . Cleaned daily . We just had breakfast typically Turkish . Only criticism is toaster not working . Great for a short stay .
