The room is stuffy, need to spend a kil extra for airfreshner, nothing in the room not even a kattle, and soap dispenser was full but not working. The environment is dark, scary and sad. The only reason is good because if the location.

Dirty, old bed linen and towels, cleaning and change of towels upon request, faulty plumbing, repaired after 4 days of stay, water did not drain from the shower or sink, on the 4th floor the standard room is old, single-layer windows, audible from the street and from the corridor 100%, out of 7 nights - not a single quiet one. The entire staff speaks Russian, which is very convenient for solving everyday issues that might not exist. Breakfast is meager: 2 eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers, 1 type of cheese, 1 type of sausage, olives, black olives, bread (all weathered, low quality), instant coffee - bad, I do not recommend visiting the hotel, for this price you can find better conditions.

It is not recommended to stay. The balcony view is as shown in the picture, which is average. The location is extremely inconvenient. Although it is very close to the Blue Mosque, the location is difficult to find, especially dragging luggage up and down the steep slope. The most important thing is that we live on the fifth floor and there is no elevator. There are no toiletries or water in the hotel. The price for this night is more than 700, which is really not cost-effective. This time I stepped on a trap and I will never go there again.

The location is okay. It's near the Blue Mosque. You can see the beautiful sea outside the window. However, the sunrise is blocked and you can't see it. The service is okay. The room is relatively small. I'm quite satisfied.

The hotel has a spectacular location, just be careful with entering the name of the hotel in Google Maps, it takes you 13km to enter the best address and there is no elevator.

Cheap and simple. Small and dirty rooms especially the showers. Beds are comfortable. Sometimes there was no hot water. Quite noisy at night thanks to the other inmates and the thin walls. Very poor breakfast. The staff is helpful and very friendly. The location is the most popular in Istanbul so its very busy. PT is very good next to T1 tramway line. Need a good shape physically ‘cause its on the hilltop with very steep streets.

It is a very neat hotel y a block full o other hoteles. This is the only Inés that has flowers ay the entrance. Recepcionists are there 24 h. They are very helpful. They speak English well enough to solve anything. They offer you water, coffee and tea at any time. The place is clean and the rooms have air conditioner. I would suggest them a boiler so that you can make your own coffee or tea in the room. Haggard Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Grand Bazaar, the Cisterna Basilica, etc are pretty close to reach in a short walk. Lost o places to eat around.

My friend, who had come from the US to attend a training that was organized in Istanbul was subjected to verbal and physical violence by the front desk staff because she asked for a receipt. I don't know what's wrong with these people, or the people who recruit them to ''provide services'' but the only service I witnessed was violence. I wouldn't recommend anyone coming here who has a child or care about their own emotional and psychological well-being for that matter, as we are still in shock after what had happened.

The establishment is located not far from the major tourist sites of Sultanahmet and transport (metro and tram), everything is doable on foot from the hotel, the staff is young and helpful, the tourist documentation at the reception is abundant, the street is quiet. every 3 days we change the towels and bedding. Big downside, the breakfast time which starts at 8:30, in case of an earlier departure it is lost, no way to negotiate, if you stay like us 5 nights it will always be the same "buffet" it is Turkish breakfast (a little industrial cold cuts and sliced cheese, hot salads and ratatouille), no fruit, dairy products, a fruit juice too diluted with water and a small dining room which cannot accommodate all the guests (often the case during our stay), it suits well the main clientele of the establishment (Russian, Turkish in majority). The hotel claims to be 3 stars, but is only worth between 1 and 2 stars, it urgently needs to be renovated and brought up to date, namely the stairs leading to the 3 floors are extremely steep and a bit dangerous (no elevator), the elderly and with difficulty, forget the address, We had taken the best room on offer: "deluxe double room with balcony, sea view" with a promotional price fortunately!! when you know that it is sometimes sold for more than 100 euros per night (45 euros is its maximum). The bedding is tired (spring mattress), it urgently needs to be changed. During our stay the television did not work, despite my request, nothing was done!! The partitions are not soundproofed, if you have "agitated" neighbors like us it does not work.

Great location, close to the center and allows you to walk to the most important points of the city! Helpful staff but...we had a problem with the room, they gave us the wrong one on the 5th floor WITHOUT ELEVATOR..! We reported it and they put us in the basement.. simple room but at least more practical! However.. we had paid for the standard room.. they kept saying it was that one! It seems strange to me but ok... Breakfast.. we are just not there! Poor quality products and mixed up in the following days! In short.. there is still a lot.. too much to improve!

From July 18 to July 19, 2023 I ended up at the Tulip House. Excellent staff, they speak Russian. The room is wonderful, air conditioning, bathroom, shower. Breakfast is hearty, varied and delicious. In the morning, even though I was woken up by an early prayer, I still slept great!

I don’t have much experience traveling abroad, so I expected to see anything from a 3-star hotel, but everything turned out to be much better. Excellent staff, especially the receptionist Shekhryar and the kitchen worker Ilina, largely thanks to their work and attitude towards the guests, I did not feel like a guest, I felt like I was at home: they will always greet you, ask how you are doing, give advice, help with excursions (very unobtrusively), changing currency is no problem (and the rate is more favorable than in many exchange offices), there was always Turkish tea and coffee downstairs. And what a wonderful breakfast there was every morning, scrambled eggs, hot toast, pancakes, if you want oatmeal, no problem. Room cleaning is done daily, linen and towels are changed approximately every 2 days. We rested at the end of March 2023, it was +5 - +14 outside, the room was always warm, hot water was immediately available, no need to miss, wait, etc. Yes, there are small shortcomings (the shower stall is slightly leaking, the bed is a little old), but these are all such little things that you simply don’t notice them. When I find myself in Istanbul again, I will definitely choose TulipHouse!

We went to this hotel because the one we booked in September left us in the middle of the street even though we had the booking confirmation for 2 triple rooms in our hands. Even it was late at night they welcomed us by giving us the last 2 rooms available and also giving us lots of advice both on the city and on the restaurants where to go to eat and the time they had to pick us up to return to the airport. Very helpful and attentive to customers and their needs. Breakfast made freshly before our eyes and according to our requests. Very central hotel with a modest cost
