The Soul Hotel was cosy and rooms decorated very well. Staff were friendly and helpful. We loved having the cat visit us in the room with balcony. Only setback was that the Hotel is at the bottom of a steep slope and as it rained on two of 3 days we were there, it was a challenge to go out to the Istikal / Takim areas.

Everything was perfect. The location in Beyoglu near bus, tram an metro. The breakfast was delicious with many local products. And the staff was very friendly and give us many reccomendations of restaurants.

+ clean and comfortable room. + nice bed and bathroom + a pretty good location with walking distance to tourist destinations Nearby, bars with parties. It's loud, but it didn't bother me. - breakfast is normal, but the process of marking the guest is strange. There is a buffet with snacks, but to get a hot one, you have to wait for the staff to order, but apparently they can't be there all the time to take the order. In the end, at the time of departure for the airport, they did not wait, although they went down to the reception. Overall, it seems clean, calm, comfortable.

It was good overall, however, lift was very small and we asked for a window in the room and got a window straight onto a small patio with people, meaning we have to have our window covered the whole time.

Good location but its noisy. If you want to relax then choose another one but good for close proximity to taksim and istaklal street.

Very accommodating the only issue we had was we requested a double bed however we were given two single beds attached together which was very annoying when sleeping after telling them they did move us to another room.

Stayed in this hotel based off of some reviews I had read as well as it being a great price and great location. It was however the service that ultimately made this hotel a 5 star experience for me, from the moment of arrival (with a welcome tea) to the goodbye getting in the taxi we felt intensely welcomed the entire time. We had booked a standard room, which upon check-in we found out was not available due to a repair situation, so we were put in a balcony room instead for the first night, no problem at all. The second night we were moved to a suite for the remainder of the stay (3 nights more) as an apology for the inconvenience, the room was fantastic. Breakfast was also top notch every day even when we came a bit late the staff said It was no problem to fix us something. We even got a little goodbye gift as we left early in the morning on our last day. Truly made our time in Istanbul an enjoyable stay.

After a counterclockwise circle, I returned to Istanbul and chose to stay in this hotel again because the quality is really good. This time I stayed in a balcony room. When I got up in the morning and opened the door, a kitten invaded. It was so cute.

Wonderful service, attentive and polite. Friendly staff. Wonderful interior design in the room, an exquisite combination of antiquity. The room is small but comfortable and everything is well equipped, very comfortable bed and mattress. The location is great, close to the center and many cool places. It’s really scary to walk in the alleys there at night.
