So I have been brushing the news comfortably in the room, and finally opened the scenic spot in the afternoon. When the rain stopped, I rushed to the Pena Palace! The next day the weather finally cleared, and it was easy to walk directly to the Regalera Palace. And the name of the room I lived in was the same as my English name, and it was too honorable! Worthy of being a five-star hotel! The hotel was built in 1764 and is very historical, but it is well maintained everywhere, will not have a sense of oldness, and it is very comfortable to live in. Breakfast can be picked up except bread, toast, pastries, juice, milk, water, etc., the rest are made now, a lot of excitement, the waiter still maintains a very friendly attitude, help me to have a whole table of meals, although I eat very full, But I still have the responsibility to eat all the meals, the taste is also very good! What surprised me even more was that the jam with bread turned out to be directly for the mini jar, and it was self-pick, really big. The point is that the special price is super close to the people, and there is no need to carry blood with the poaching. It's just that the weather in the Portuguese mountains in winter is really not good, and you need to be mentally prepared. But if it is really miserable to go to the scenic spot, I can't go there at all. I think it's worth it to stay here for one night. Really recommend 🥰🥰

The hotel’s breakfast is very rich and the service is very warm. The hotel’s location is very convenient, just opposite the Sintra Palace, there are many restaurants nearby, and the Sintra Railway Station is not far away. The room is not big, but very modern

La camera è in realtà un grazioso mini appartamento con camera, bagno e cucina con buoni spazi a disposizione. Avrebbe bisogno di qualche lavoretto di manutenzione (la porta della doccia non chiude bene, pareti un po' rovinate, filtro del bagno cieco non pulito...) La pulizia generale è buona, peccato solo per il pesante odore di fritto presente all'interno (non abbiamo capito se qualcuno avesse cucinato o se veniva dell'esterno, pur tenendo aperte le finestre non è andato via). La host ci ha accolti con molta gentilezza parlando bene in inglese. La posizione è molto comoda per raggiungere la zona centrale a piedi ma è assolutamente sconsigliato arrivarci in auto. Pochi giorni prima dell'arrivo abbiamo ricevuto una mail da LovelyStay.com che ci informava che il centro storico è interdetto alle auto dei turisti e ci suggeriva una via vicina dove parcheggiare. La via in questione è stretta e con pochissimi parcheggi a bordo strada e impostandola sul navigatore non si trova. Dopo oltre 3 ore alla ricerca di un parcheggio con code chilometriche abbiamo lasciato l'auto in stazione e pagato un taxi per arrivare alla struttura (c'è anche l'autobus che arriva nella piazzetta principale). Ovviamente il traffico congestionato non è colpa di chi gestisce la struttura ma ritengo che sia necessario informare meglio chi la deve raggiungere per evitare disagi. Pur essendo partiti con ampio anticipo da Lisbona abbiamo mancato l'ingresso a Quinta de Regaleira, che purtroppo non siamo riusciti a vedere, perdendo anche i soldi del biglietto per 2 persone.

Very well located, close to the train station, few Places and restaurants. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were very clean, in the bathroom I would smell the drain but we understand the old plumbing system so did not bother us. Breakfast has little bit of everything, so we enjoyed it. We definitely had a pleasant stay. Would highly recommend.

Lovely small hotel with attention to detail in Sintra. Only stayed one night but found the staff friendly and the facilities of high quality. A small fridge would have been handy but I notice these are not common in Portugal. Close to transport, attractions, restaurants and shopping, this hotel would be a good choice for anyone visiting the area.

L'hotel si trova nel paesino di Colares: il centro del paese è a circa 2 km dall'albergo e offre diversi ristoranti e un buon supermercato della catena Continente: è un ottimo punto di partenza per chi voglia visitare le località di Sintra, Cascais. Estori, Cabo de Rocal o per le spiagge vicine. Dispone di parcheggio privato, ma i posti sono pochi. La struttura è molto bella ed i punti di forza sono sicuramente la sala comune con biliardo e pianoforte, la terrazza e l'incantevole giardino nel quale riposarsi. La camera nel complesso, purtroppo, è inferiore al resto dell'albergo: arredamento datato ed un po' kitsch (il comodino era letteralmente un tronco d'albero che a mala pena sosteneva la lampada, perciò non potevi appoggiare neppure il cellulare...) e bagno assolutamente da rivedere soprattutto i sanitari vecchi e a la doccia pericolosa con il piano che sembrava sprofondare. Buona, comunque, la pulizia e la qualità del sonno con letto comodo e nessun rumore (la stanza affacciava sul giardino) Buona e abbondante la colazione con tutto il necessario dal dolce al salato. Una nota positiva va allo staff: sono tutti molto cordiali e gentili. Nel complesso buon rapporto qualità/ prezzo tenuto conto della zona e consigliato per chi viaggia in auto
