"Truely historic small hotel (26 rooms) in historic building. Nothing really what you can call luxury 2025, it was maybe bacl 2000. Location next to the Palace of Queluz makes it a bit more interesting though it's remote from both Lisboa and Sintra (which municiplay this place belongs to, city tax is ”only” 2€/Person max for 3 nights!). All rooms are upstairs, the standard rooms face the cobbed street (you can hardly hear with closed windows), big bathroom with tub, electricity bit strange, illumination bit old fashiioned. Due to the small capacity also the buffet breakfast ist limited in choice though high quality. Nespresso and filer coffee (better than those vending machines). Free parking outside is a plus, restaurants are in walking distance! In a nutshell: nice place but the ”normal” rates around 150€ are BY FAR too much in my eyes - our 75€ incl.4€ city tax was just okay (missing extras like spa, pool etc.)"

"Very basic room with almost no amenities. The room is very dark with only bedside lamps and a basically useless hanging lamp. The toilet door knob is broken so we couldn’t close the door. The hanging lamp was not working when we first entered the room but receptionist was very helpful to help us change the light bulb, only to realise it’s so dim so basically useless."

"Perhaps the best hotel I've been, the rooms are wonderful, as well as the room and the library. Do not expect huge spaces because it's all in line with the Portuguese style and old houses; our room was very small with a small but functional bathroom and a large shower. The only thing to be reviewed is breakfast: very limited, they didn't ask us whether we wanted an express or a cappuccino, a service limited to bringing fruit, cutting and cheese. From vegan (what I had warned) the choice was limited to cereals and fruit bread and drinks."

The location is not far from the train station, you can walk on foot, it is very convenient to visit the town, the scenery outside the window and the garden is particularly good, facing the valley, you can overlook the Moorish castle. The overall hotel is very new, the facilities are exquisite and the breakfast is excellent. The croissant is very delicious. The service staff was very enthusiastic and asked where we wanted to go and took the initiative to draw us the bus route to the map. In addition, we promptly advised us to go to Cabo da Roca to watch the sunset on a sunny day, and the next day turned into a cloudy sky. . .

There is a swimming pool and a big garden. We enjoyed breakfast in a tranquil environment. Hotel owner was very helpful and gave recommendation on local restaurants which were good.

A delightful find, totally by accident-looking quickly for a 2 night stay while in Portugal and plans changed. Must have a car though as it is a bit out of the way. Rooms were large and well appointed. Comfortable and quiet. Good breakfast and convenient to Sintra and the surrounding area.

Hotel bad care in some areas to need restaurant, friendly and careful staff, breakfast nothing extraordinary, very little information about what the hotel can offer. Very difficult to get parking In summary, it doesn't deserve the value charged, but the stay was pleasant

Very cute little homestay, very comfortable and warm, the traffic is very convenient, it is a small house with a pink powder in the morning, and the bird singing wakes up. It is also convenient to go to the castle of Sindela during the day. It is really a good accommodation experience. There is also a pedestrian street on the side. Shopping and eating are convenient. A whole recommendation

Dear Sir, I am checking out in your hotel on Sept 10, can you help me to ask your floor keeper to check in Rm 407 if they can find a small organizer in dark color with an ID car inside , they may check the locker , drawer and whatever place they can find in the room .
